Told my uncle I saw the aurora this year and he said call me. If you see the aurora again call me. Even if it's 3am. and tbh I should have expected this from a man with an astrophysics PhD but I had genuinely forgotten this about him for a minute there

#rowena adventures #he was such a good uncle to us as kids. gave us the most excellent novels for all birthdays and Christmases and also #taught us about science in really accessible ways to kids #I firmly believe that kids will understand a lot if you explain it well!#(throwback to teaching my 6yo cousin about viruses a couple years ago)#he did so good at that!#tbh knowing about him probably explains quite a lot about me as a person...#I remember this every time I tell anyone about him
