A few weeks ago I had a pretty big commission for a client who wanted me to draw 11 Book of the Sun inspired artworks for their own world building project. Payment was awesome. That was cool. Gladly accepted it, and over the course of working on it, I realized how that entire BotS project has stopped having meaning for my headworld, world building, OCs, Skindarim, you name it, and instead started having meaning for me personally in different times of my life. I look at page 8 and I know I drew it for Eleonora's sons - Vasil, Rafael, Jarek - but I think about the time the weather was beautiful and the sun was shining, I was enjoying my life in the June of 2020. I look at page 6 and know I drew it because I wanted to explore the backstory of the Istrati, but now what I see is the very first picture of a character that has become more than just dear to me, Alexandru. Someone I literally never expected to draw more than once but has now taken permanent residence in my brain. I've been working on these gold-and-black pages for a literal three years now, and I never even intended it to happen actually. I made a few because I found it fun to develop the Istrati aesthetic a bit, my weird sun vampire clan, but then people wanted to see more and more, and started asking me more often whether I will publish them, something I literally never thought about. It became overbearing. People told me that everyone is just waiting for it (oh damn, expectations), I would make bank (nah, I wouldn't), etc etc. In a way I felt thrown into some kind of hustle culture. On top came the sheer amount of times people stole them, ripped out of context, for their shitty mood boards or Dark Art Aesthetic Facebook Pages, or claimed I wasn't the actual artist because the vague mythology they built up over these photoshop made pictures was more fascinating than the reality of the person behind them.  Anyway. A few months ago I radically changed the world building of Skindarim which also included my vampires logically. I love it. It feels like me. I still haven't gotten around writing a proper new readable description beyond a giant collection of notes and cornerstones written as if in mania, but it feels like everything I wanted of my brain ghosts and world to finally become what I really love. Wilderness, nature, hope, light, darkness, gore. All topics I love to explore. I look at the BotS pages now and see everything that has changed in lore and world building, that isn't accurate anymore at all.

I drew page 38 yesterday. I barely know what it means in the setting of my characters anymore. I know it what it means to me, as a person, as the artist behind it. I'm glad I made it, and I'm glad I made the 37 before it. In a way they became obsolete, in a way they've become just as, or even more important to me than before.

what would everyone look like if they where from Pandora? o: {it popped into my head and i thought it might be interesting}

You were probably hoping for their dragon counterparts modified to look like Pandora predators…but I went a different route. The dragons in my headworld are on the same level in intelligence with humans, so their Pandora counterparts would be creatures that are the same.

As of now we only have two species on Pandora that fit this: The Tuluk (the sapient alien whales) and the Na’vi. Since the story of my Headworld is about a human that literally falls into the rest of the story which introduces her to the fact dragons exist and have been in hiding all this time, I went with the latter:

Starting with Meg/Pendara herself. To put in a simple but inaccurate way, she’s the Jake Sully of this possibly AU. Not literally…I mean that she goes through a similar journey of “human that is a part of the Avatar Program but who ends up with the opportunity to live with and learn from the true Na’vi natives and comes to realize what she was in support of was wrong” he did.

Except as you can see, she’s a reef Na’vi-based avatar pilot. Reason being I want to explore that area of the story since I love the ocean and Meg would be perfectly eager to learn from ocean-based Na’vi. Not at first, of course…she’s uncertain about this whole thing at the start, but over time she falls in love with the planet’s ocean and the way the reef people live.

How she gets into this situation…I will have to see if it’s possible to expand on this AU before going into that… But I have Pandora counterparts of the others:

First Megaera (given a Na’vi name), who is a rain forest Na’vi like the main characters are. Her father being the clan chief, she is the next spiritual leader in training like Neytiri was. She’s not like Neytiri, though, of course…instead she is more like Ronal at first, very anti-human and skeptical that they can learn anything from the natives of Pandora (though for similar reasons to Tsu’tey who lost loved ones to them). Her opinion changes when she befriends Meg.

Then Calixthzan, who is a “fire” Na’vi because his dragon counterpart is a volcanic dragon. We don’t have any information on them yet except that they’re called Ash People and are much more aggressive than the other races, possibly even intolerant, but are called “evil” as a general term. Cal is like the others of his clan at first, and displays this clearly by wearing a necklace of bones.

The bones consist of fangs belonging to a predator of his territory, and what look to be human bones snapped in half to better decorate the necklace. (It’s later revealed they’re the bones of only one human…and are literally snapped in half to decorate the necklace and make it look like there was more than one kill. It’s a scare tactic mostly, and it isn’t clear how the human died or if (Cal) was even the one to do it…)

Then Frjord and Azure (also given better names if I ever find a list) who are in (Megaera’s) clan. (Fjord) is an adult by human standards, but not according to the clan. He has yet to choose an Ikran and partake in the Dream Walk ritual. It isn’t clear why, as he is not incompetent or lazy, but he isn’t ready yet apparently.

(Azure) is recognized as an adult, having an Ikran and everything, but is not referred to as a warrior much. Neither as a hunter or a fighter, (Azure) only does enough to not be viewed as useless to the clan. It may be related to the scar on his face, but Meg isn’t ready to ask about it.

Then there is Nox…who is as unusual and mysterious here as he is in the headworld story.

Nox (called by many other names) is the local that Meg meets and that sends her on her journey like Jake’s. Except Nox isn’t in the Metkayina or any of the other reef clan. He isn’t in any clan at all. Nox isn’t even a Na’vi…

He is what the Na’vi see as the Wrath of Eywa, a large, powerful, and both feared and honored creature of Pandora whose intelligence, age, and connection to the planet is said to surpass all others’ but the goddess herself. However, he does not command the flora and fauna as Eywa does…though he can communicate with them as the Na’vi do.

How does he have two forms, though? By doing what humans learned to do, switching his consciousness from his true body to a Na’vi body which he travels in normally. When you see his true form, it is a sign from Eywa that the balance has been deeply uprooted and that her rare but existing mighty wrath against this is coming to fix it. (Nox) is the first and most seriously received sign before this occurs.

I might continue exploring this AU sometime, especially if people are interested in seeing more, but for now this is the concept designs of everyone.

I’ve had this headworld that I’ve been poking at on and off for a few years now, I think. The past few weeks, though, I’ve really dedicated a lot of headspace to it and fleshed it out quite a bit. I’d love to do a comic someday, but I don’t think I’m quite ready for that...however, I’ve done enough that I’m just bursting to share it!!

I’m (tentatively) calling it “Jaca’s Haven”. Descriptions under the cut

#1: The main character, Jaca (”Jay-kuh”), a young female weasel. She was born completely deaf, and she’s a ward of a local Abbey. This particular Abbey is quite involved with its local tree rat tribe, and the tribe’s chief and one of the Abbey’s tree rat wards taught her sign language, though the creatures of the Abbey taught her to read lips. Anyway, she ends up wrapped up in this smuggling operation of sorts and on the run. She was originally strongly inspired by the Flitchaye tribes of Redwall (is anyone at all surprised?? No, I didn’t think so). 

#2: Jaca and Yaspar. Yaspar the ferret is the captain of a small merchant ship, but he ends up marooned on an island and runs into Jaca there. After accidentally scaring her and getting a nosebleed and then a twisted ankle for his troubles, Jaca decides to help him, but they keep losing each other in the forest. Eventually, Jaca ends up using her belt as an improvised leash and leads him through.

#3-5; Samson, one of Jaca’s closest friends. I’ve been focusing a lot on this particular character recently, but I never actually found a name for him until tonight!! Samson isn’t the name he was born with, but when he was taken in by the Abbey as a small child, it’s the name he was given, and that’s all he knows himself as now.

Samson is...well, quite honestly, he’s kind of the personification of that “they ask you how you are, and you just have to say you’re fine when you’re not really fine” meme. He’s just never felt like he truly belonged anywhere, and nearly everyone finds him to be stiff and aloof. There’s only a few creatures who have managed to get past his hard shell, Jaca being one of them. Samson takes her safety very seriously, but unintentionally ends up being the one who gets Jaca involved in the search for the elusive “Gullhaven”.

Samson grows up to become a lackey to the story’s main antagonist, Ryer (”RYE-er”, the cat in pic #4).  I haven’t figured out his exact motives or role yet, but regardless Ryer holds a lot of power in the town, and though he’s not a member of the Abbey’s order, he’s one of the main reasons why the Abbey has gotten so much in the local tribe’s business. He leads an elite group of creatures who help him to “keep order”, including Euan (”YEW-un”) the squirrel. Euan and Samson have quite the rivalry between them--they both ended up with notable facial scars during Samson’s tryouts, though scrappy Samson drew first blood, much to Euan’s chagrin. Samson’s only the second tree rat to be accepted amongst Ryer’s ranks--the one before him allegedly disappeared under mysterious circumstances. It’s an especially difficult lifestyle, as Samson ends up getting the short stick in virtually everything (largely thanks to Euan, who ranks much higher, and ignored by Ryer, who also encourages the rivalry), but he stays anyway for the resources and opportunities that it provides him.

#6-7: More rats! Comparisons of Samson, Dekko and Tomo. 

Dekko (aka Dex) is one of Yaspar’s crew. He’s one heavily tattooed string bean of a sailor. He lost his right paw recently and is still learning to adapt. There’s also Chief Tiatoma (though most call him Tomo), who leads the local tree rat tribe. He taught both Jaca and Samson sign language, and is constantly fighting what feels like a losing battle for the preservation of his tribe’s culture. He strongly disapproves of much of what the Abbey and Ryer are doing, and also fiercely cares for Jaca.

What kinds of music does Flams enjoy? Is there any music he doesn't like/care for?

Flams definitely enjoys jazzy music or blues. Anything that’s really calm and not too fast. Anything too exciting isn’t too much for him, but he doesn’t mind it! All music is good!

He is a Giant after all. In my headworld music is something very special to Giants! It’s something very special that instantly catches their attention. You can calm down the wildest Giant with the right music. Not every music works because everyone still has their individual taste. But music is always something that could even hypnotize a Giant and humans know that. Some of them make bad use of it. There are some Storm Hunters who lure Giants with music and songs like a siren would do to a sailor. Luring them to the right spot and well... yeeah.

Doe you plane to continue the story or start the fanfiction with Amon trying to coexist with humans along with other Demons trying to get along and stop the cycle that everyone is stuck in by doing so

(I do want to continue with what I have. After all everything I have was based on my ideas, it has nothing to do with his “non-existing daughter”.

But it would be more like drawings rather than a comic or a fanfiction. English is not my native language and I can’t write stories at all. I wouldn’t even know where to start. I wish I was better at writing, but the be better I would need to start writing. ^^’  A comic would take to much time, sadly. With a full time job, my time is very limited. I wouldn’t be able to do both work on my own headworld for my own story and draw devilman stuff.

My Au has the following storyline, a very rough storyline but it’s at least something.

Demon Knight Arc

The events at the beginning are similar to the prequel manga Akuma Kishi.  Amon is a human warrior under Lucifer a.k.a Satan’s order. Satan gets the order from god to hunt down the demons in the mountain. They discover that the monsters they call demons are failed human experiments from god. Amon refused to kill them, instead he wants to rebel against god. He confinces Lucifer to join him. (The old human Amon has a lot in common with Akira. A good heart, wants to help everyone,...) Lucifer wants to help, they know God is way to strong and Amon would not survive a fight. They merge Amon with the werewolf Urga and his dragon, making a demon out of him.  The betrayal Amon feels towards Satan is endless. He can’t believe the person that meant the most to him did this. He does join the rebellion, but not for Lucifer. He joins because Silene was able to convince him. (She turned herself into a demon) They loose the fight and get cast down to hell.

A Demon with a Human Heart Arc

This starts way before the Darkside manga.  Amon’s design here is based of the tribal figure of him. Less fur and leaner than the bulky Amon we know. Amon is now a demon and guess what, he has to learn how to be one. Learn the rule of “kill or be killed”. Only the strongest survives. Silene is the one who always tries to cheer him up, telling him that it is not so bad being a demon. It could have been worse. He is a loner for a few months, till Silene asks him to join her tribe (same tribe as in the darkside manga, similar demons like her) Of course, being the only demon with red skin, he stands out like a sore thumb. xD The others from Silenes tribe can't stand him at the beginning. Over the months Amon's starts to make his name known within the demon realm. His current goal is to get strong enough to rival his worst enemy, Lucifer. The person who did this to him. But as time goes by, his humanity starts to fade day by day. Sooner or later only his demon side is left. Only a trace of the human was left in him. A dying out flame you could say. Soon Amon was feard and adored as the strongest of demonkind. (This took many centuries, this was not a thing done in a few months. Now he looks like the Amon we all know. Badass and strong with a beard of course!) Satan noticed Amon's progress. Satan still had feelings for Amon. They never wanted to betray him. (Satan does this two times in my story. First to Amon and then to Akira. Poor angel isn't able to learn from their first mistake. Just make another human into a demon. what could go wrong?) But seeing how much chaos Amon caused Satan had no other choice than to capture Amon and imprison him. Trapping his soul within the moon of hell. (called deathless Amon in the darkside manga)  Now the darkside manga comes into play. You know the human child the Silene tribe had, that later freed Amon's soul from his prison. This is how Amon comes back. The humans mind gets overtaken by Amon.  Many centuries go by yet again, where he lives his demon life. Satan vanished at one point. Modern Times Arc Then comes the fatefull day where Akira and Ryo try to summon a demon with the sabbath ritual. Amon takes his change and tries to overtake Akira's body. This was his chance to get back to earth. But Akira was able to trap him in his mind. When Amon sees Ryo throught Akira's eyes, he does not see Ryo. He sees Satan. He got betrayed yet agan. (his life is not easy xD) From there one the events are most likely the same. Akira fights Satan and dies. Satan gets punished by God for destroying all of humanity. The time loop begins. The loop always starts with Akira and Ryo meeting each other and then summoning Amon. The second time it happends Amon has this feeling that this has happened before. It's a very bad deja vu. The third time it happends Amon gets what's going on. He is not thrilled about it. Yet again being dragged into Satans mess. He starts to interact more with Akira, trying to tell him to let him free. So he can finally get Satan between his claws. Akira does not believe Amon. This could just be a trick to take over his body after all. Without Akira giving him freedom, Amon can't switch to his physical body. (My Amon is not bound to Akira's body). Akira also has those dreams from Amon's past as a human. He learns that Amon was once human. This is also why Amon's presence feels so different from all the other demons.  He's a demon with a human heart, like Silene. Later even Akira notices the time loop after a while. The war between demons and humans was going to start soon again.

He finally started working with Amon. They even started to tolerate each other. but they loose in the end again. They can't keep on fighting. The loop would only repeat itself over and over. Violence was not an aswer, but co-existence was. And this is where my AU is currently. I am not too happy with my writing. It's really the bare bone of the story. But it at least gives you all an idea of what my drawings are based one.

I surely have some typos in there. x'D I hope it’s understandable.)

Hello there, sorry to bother you, but I saw your lovely doodles of your Hollow Knight oc and I was wondering how you get the confidence to post such things? I love making ocs but every time I do, a part of me starts screaming about how dare I have a fictional creation of my own interact with canon characters. It feels self indulgent to make ocs like that, and as such, something you can't post, so how do you get around that? Is there something wrong with that sort of stuff?

Ah well, I’ve been posting my stuff online for years now, ever since I joined Deviantart like 5, 6 years ago, and I was always really excited and driven to try and post and share my ideas online. Back then it was all OCs from the little headworld / story I have figured out, but regardless it was a pretty easy progression to making OCs for games I like [ the whole 2 games I’ve ever done fanart for lol ]. 

All that to say, I might not be able to give the best advice, because it was never really hard for me to post my stuff. I’ve always loved the idea of sharing my ideas in some fashion.

But! The first thing I think is good to remember with making fandom OCs and having them interact with canon ones is - this is fandom. Everything is self indulgent. Even the most canon compliant fic or artwork is coming from someone who thought “You know what I want ? To make this thing !” It’s one of the keystones I think, of fandom period. The idea that you want to contribute to or add to the thing that you love, while surrounded by people who also love that thing. There is absolutely nothing wrong with making yourself a character and going “Hey everyone, look at this thing I made! Isn’t it rad??”

Whether you get a response or not is a completely different story, but on a personal level, you creating and posting these things ? With today’s internet culture thats really normal, and actually a pretty good way of making friends and socializing in situations you wouldn’t normally be in. 

After you’ve run that through your head a couple of times [ which I had to do with posting fanfiction, actually, now that i think about it ] the best thing to do is then actually post it. You might wanna warm up to it. If you’re really that nervous you can start with just making OCs and putting them in the background somehow, and still keeping canon characters the main focus of attention. Or you can dive in head first with a ref sheet of your OC and a faux streak of confidence. Either way, I think one of the best ways of breaking the illusion of “this content is terrible and self-indulgent” is by throwing it out there and realizing, it really isn’t. People have done this for ages before you did, and ages after you do. You are, in the most wonderful way, just one more idea in this massive pile of creativity inspired by something you love. It’s an amazing experience, and despite what some exclusionists in your community might say, it’s one of the best things about enjoying a piece of media.

Now like, addressing something kind of related to this: Most people I feel like get the idea that making OCs is bad because there’s a vocal minority of people who, for some reason, just decided one day they didn’t like it. You know, cringe culture people. They’re the same reason I for the longest time didn’t write or read fanfiction. I’d let other people convince me it was all just, bad. Badly read, badly written, badly themed, etc. And a lot of people also feel like they shouldn’t make OCs for fandom things for the same reason [ it got really big with the Undertale fandom, which just sucks in general ]. And honestly ? The people who decide that, don’t matter. No one person will ever be able to please everyone, and people who believe in cringe culture specifically I think shut down a lot of the enjoyable parts of their fandom all for the sake of seeming cooler or more interesting than someone else, when in reality they just kind of seem. Mean. And unable to have fun themselves.

At the end of the day you shape your own fandom experience, you take the reigns on how you enjoy something. And if you think it would be really fun to make these characters and throw them out for everyone to see? Do it. You’re allowed to do things just because they’re fun, or you think it’s a neat idea. You’re allowed to be passionate about something that’s inspired by something else. And in the long run you’ll probably even learn something from it, which is one of the best things !

I thought about drawing foods for this TA for a long time. Writing about food underwater is hard. Also, writing about a society where terrestrial plants do not exist is ALSO very hard. So here’s a thing.

TLDR:

Food underwater is bland, usually raw, and fancy presentation is reserved for slow-moving fish merfolk/occasions. Also, as fish merfolk you can eat your inner spirit and offer your outer spirit to be eaten by your friends. Above water, everyone eats bugs, bug spit, and many varieties of molds (and sometimes also seafood). Also, when you die, your body will be made as fertilizer for new molds.

Also you can be arrested and killed for drinking tea. /TLDR

Food underwater is typically very bland, and almost all of it is served raw, although there are methods to took underwater, they are expensive.

Any sort of “prepared food”, i.e. anything that isn’t a squid on a stick, or raw fish, is difficult to assemble underwater, given that the materials that need to be gathered in a layered meal, plus the utensils/tools to craft said meal, means that any sort of “restaurant” has to be stationary and in a stable location. A very popular substance that is used to keep food “together” is sap, which is produced from insects above water. Sap does not dilute underwater, and it can be made into many dishes, like jello, and merfolk can “drink” it underwater.

You’ll only witness special food presentations like this in reefs or kelp forests or other stationary areas, and chefs there are highly paid, well respected. Typically, a well prepared meal for ceremonies such as Weddings, Deaths, a Seeding, and they are almost undoubtedly beholden to Coldbloods.

Warmbloods do not see a huge point in banquet style food, as for a long time, they were not allowed near areas where stationary areas for food making was easy. Due to their long travels in open water, many would find it a bother carry the essential ingredients/tools to craft elegant meals. Furthermore, a being with the mass of a whale must eat a LOT, and putting so much effort into making “something pretty” for such small energy intake would be a long, expensive waste. Plus, many warmbloods have little means to barter in coral reefs cafes.

Times have changed, and conflict between merfolk species has evened out, cultures are mixing, middleclass is growing, and the more smaller whale warmbloods are experimenting extravagant coldblood meals, but those such as balleen whales (who feed mostly on krill) that would be exceptionally rare.

Many foreigners ask the question about consuming familiars, for example, “what happens if I eat a squid in front of a squid mer-person”.

In short: Eating your own familiar, is typically to honor the demiurge Hylebog, the broodmother of all familiars and descendants.

Food Above water:

There is no land in this world (Deign). There is no place for plants to grow, therefore, crops like grains, fruit trees, legumes, nut trees, seeds, do not exist. This means foods like fruit or drinks, teas, breads, rice along with many other things do not exist in this world.

There exists a very small amount of SOME plants. In some very SELECT upper class of the government, there are private gardens where there is rumor that there are some growth of plants of origins of unknown. It is illegal for anyone other than the Matriarch government to consume any sort of plants, due to their rarity. In fact, anyone other than Matriarchy found consuming or owning plant matter commits a crime can be assigned to life sentence in vassalage or immediate termination.

As a side note. This also means that opiates do not exists (smoking drugs) however, many medicinal uses can be found with the huge variety of fungus that exist.

In place of plants, mold has thrived. There are THOUSANDS of kinds of edible fungus and molds growing in Deign, each one with different tastes, different calorie contents, and textures. Fungus is used as a stable for flavor, secretions from certain molds are used as sweetener or paste… they can be brewed into teas, used in soup, baked into loaves similar to bread, and hardened and eaten as candy. Cordyceps are a particular favorite, and there are “Corpse Gardens in the Republic” where dead bodies of insects and residents are sent to be used as as material to grow Cordycep crops. Reproduction via spores is easy, and does not require pollination, there are very few small insects here.

However, there are many large insects.

The insects in Deign are massive, used to pull floating airships and chariots. They have a high protein content, and there are a vast consumable variety, and residents can consume adults, as well as larvae, pupae and eggs.

Seafood is another source of protein, although less common. With unstable laws between air and Ocean Nations, the Republic people have only a few fishing grounds that they are officially allowed to hunt.  There is a huge trading system between the Republic and the Ocean Nations in terms of trading “Sap” which is a bug spit, undissolvable in water, and one of the few substances merfolk can “drink” underwater, and seafood. Therefore, there are lots of Sap farms floating like green blimps all over the skies by floating Opus domes.

Hello! :) Of course - I think it’s less than you’d expect, but maybe it helps anyway! Much text and images under the cut.

The very start was an old map of the planet I used for my headworld stuff since 1998. It looked nice, but it didn’t make any sense in the scientific department:

I wanted to change a lot, so I used Universe Sandbox to play around for some inspiration. I loaded Earth, put it closer to the Sun, melted it up, placed it back to where it belonged and watched the lava solidify into new continental shapes. I screenshotted the shapes I liked and stitched them together. After some refining in Photoshop, I ended up with this:

The next step was to make sense of the shapes and apply some tectonic activity which is responsible for oceans, mountains and every other major shape. I read a lot of arcticles and it took several evenings to come up with a map that kept the main shapes while making at least a bit of geological sense.

Continental borders, plains, mountains and ocean ridges were defined by those geological laws, not by “magic”. It’s not for everyone, but I’m pedantic and need to be able to explain everything. Now that I had the basics, I went to Google Earth and used screenshots to photobash the terrain. It’s barren and lifeless because I wasn’t yet at the point to define climate zones. This is a mid-work screenshot:

After that, I imported the first iteration of the map into Google Earth. It was a nice sight. :3

I was now able to start on climate. My first waypoint was the link between axial tilt, rotation speed and the likes. Those paramenters defined the tropics of cancer and capricorn, length of day and year, and overall illumination.

I used the principles of atmospheric dynamics on Earth and put them onto Thaelèssyn. It’s also quite a bit of reading, but very interesting and useful. I made many different charts for each part of the topic (pressure, temperature, precipitation). The first iteration was rough and looked like this:

The newer maps were “just” nicer and cleaner remakes of those maps. Everything from here was done in Photoshop. I jagged the silhouettes of the continents more, gave the ocean some more depth variation and looked for general errors. This is a close-up of the map:

It has a fair amount of detail, but it’s still raw. The basic climate charts are complete, but their effect isn’t yet on the map and some shapes will change again - for example, Norway’s western coast is so rutted because glaciers from the last ice age shaped the terrain - local effects like these are completely missing from the map right now and will be a thing of the future.

AA(anxiety anon)-I love textwalls and art equally. It's always fascinating to hear about your version(??? would that be the correct term?) of Terraria. :) Expanding on the other anon-do you think any of the Starfallen could become genuine friends with the Player, or would they more see them as a means to an end forever? (Also, something that just occurred to me-do you consider your own player characters and NPCs to exist in the same world? Or are they separate in your mind?)

Anyway, it’s all good, and thanks for the continued support! I do honestly like writing stuff and embellishing on things and am always up for a little bit of worldbuilding no matter what mood I’m in.

Aberrant could certainly become friends with the player, and Anomaly would be able to fake it REALLY well if that’s what you really want. Abomination wouldn’t, though, being little more than a huge jerk. Incidentally, despite not really being part of the group, Excelsior could genuinely befriend the player as well (I have some asks directed at him, they’re on the to-be-arted list).

And yes, all my player characters and NPCs do exist in the same world, but it’s a big world. I just like to tie everything together. Here’s an example of my character interconnections in WoW, which I’d made to illustrate just how far I tend to go with this stuff if given the opportunity and motivation. I do this with pretty much the entirety of my original headworld. I mean, mentally interconnecting everything, not physically c-mapping it all. I tried once. It didn’t end well.

Technically, Daimera is still the main player character of my world (even if I haven’t played her since late-1.2, but technically her canon gear setup isn’t even endgame; it’s Frost-Themed-Everything), so the Starfallen NPC group centers around her as if her ‘game’ was the only one running (hard to explain, bear with me), and she’s friends with Aberrant. I was originally just going to recreate her for playthroughs every time new versions came out, but just enjoyed making new characters with fun vanity combos more. She’s just the local Mega-Sue (even if Arbeh is technically the only “acendeded hero” who has completed everything, but he’s also a giant conceited wanker and nobody likes him).

Not all of the other characters know everyone else in passing or by interconnection, they’re just spread out across the same world, and they all COULD run into one another, but do so only rarely (though there are some clusters of characters in closer proximity to one another than others, the main sets being: Daimera, Arbeh, and Aaarrrgg; Arynna and Arlene, and Aspen; Audrey, Gwys, and Apiara. Auraion travels all over and steals from anyone who has artifacts they won’t miss, but is most well-known to Dai, Arbeh, and Gwys, as they tend to do the most actual work obtaining spares of anything)

(( This is a super weird time to post stuff but I'm gonna post it anyway. So I'm in sequential arts and I'm reading more comics and drawing more comics and writing more comics and I've been thinking about what long form story I'd want to develop most... And Vell's is definitely my top story that I've come up with as far as what I'm most passionate about and character development. So was thinking Vell's story would be in sections with chapters inside them... Kinda like books I guess? But more like the phases of his life, some of which are much longer or shorter than others. The first would be his life as a necromancer in Skyrim up to the point of exiting that world. The second would be his time as a formless lich on earth up to the point of taking godhood from his mentor. The third would be major events from his thousands of years as the god of Decay. The forth would be where he reaches back out to humanity and interaction with mortals. Several issues come up with all this. First is... No matter what it's going to be a multiverse theory comic, that's a major theme.in his life... But should I stick with my already developed Skyrim arc and write the first arc as a fan comic or spend time developing a different but similar fantasy world for this to take place in? Second is... When it gets to the forth arc... I'd be using a lot of events roleplayed right here. A lot will be cut or expanded on but the thing is I have to ask everyone for permission to use their characters as cameos in my comic, if they don't want to cameo in the comic but still had a major impact on Vell... I'll have to paraphrase what happened and maybe make it seem like it was some event from his thousands of years before this point. Characters from other franchises would have to be glossed over or tweaked and characters from other complex headworlds where this isn't their canon ?? I'm not sure, that would be up to their creators. Regardless this fourth arc would be much abbreviated from all the adventures and complex overlaps that go on, it would focus almost exclusively on him and his family and leave most other drama out of it.. even if he's involved it would be simplified. I was also thinking of a 'future' arc, like with ascended Sage and stuff. ))

Seeking Voice actors for original project!

Hello everyone! I’m not sure how advertising works at all so oops.

Anyway, I am super passionate about my headworld, and plan to turn it into a motion comic of some kind, with voice actors! So I’m reaching out to Tumblr to see if anyone here, would be interested, since there are so many diverse people on this site.

Before I give the link about the project, I want to tell you all first that it doesn’t matter if English isn’t your native language, or what your gender is, or if your sexuality doesn’t match the character, etcetc. All I really care about is a clear mic, and if you can act! That’s it!
