nothing has ever gotten me as fast as seeing something I read and only partially liked referred to as the coughing baby in a coughing baby vs hydrogen bomb dichotomy

#immediately went to the library and placed a hold on the hydrogen bomb #I saw someone say it discusses similar things to black sails YEAH BABY #(the locked tomb was the coughing baby. which I partially enjoyed but struggled with for many reasons)#(the traitor baru cormorant is the hydrogen bomb. i am very excited to read a gut wrenching story about imperialism)#there are two copies out right now and I am the first hold so hopefully I'll get it soon!!!! exciting #and it's hard fantasy apparently? which is my jam so I think I'm going to really like it
