Headcanon about the Collector's name.

When he thought that a new name would help him start living in a new way, with a clean slate without looking back at what the other Collectors were doing, he remembered the story that Phillip often told him. He called it religion and told the Collector everything he knew. The Collector treated it like one big story Philip was telling him, and he was fascinated! He decided that he was closest to being one of the angels, so he took it on after he left the Isles.

He chose the name "Gabriel Morningstar"
