Day 6

Did a whole bunch of side quests as I’m nervous about the next stage of the story haha. Sidequests sidequests… so many sidequests…

Tallneck day apparently, I did three of them… only one left on the map! The one at San Fran was so cool, but it still doesn’t beat the one in TFW lmao. Also interesting level design to make one tallneck on the low side of a mountain so I could just go to the fire on the top of the mountain and glide down to land on his head?

Also, uncovering all the map except for the forbidden tiny bit down the bottom of the map so still more to go babey

Alva is SO GOOD and I’m loving all her screentime so much – the way they threaten her to get Aloy to comply… delicious. Puts that in my folder of Alvaloy moments. Like obviously they are still getting to know each other here, but the panic in Aloy when they said they were going to hurt Alva… they are already friends!!

As soon as this bitch said his name was ‘Ceo��� I was like well there is some bullshittery afoot here. And I was right. I really am completely gobsmacked and obsessed like they really put Ted Faro through 1000 years of torment and his goal was to meet the people who came after and instead the guy who was kinning him killed him on sight like there’s a message here. Like they really said something here but even a month later when I’m writing this I don’t have more thoughts besides like, shock. They really said Ted was the most egotistical man to live and thought he could guide in the next generation, and instead showed him become a living monster and then killed him without one second of screentime. The guy who was worshipping him was so disgusted that he ordered him killed with about five seconds of thought. GG really said all billionaires must die.

The Rost feels are coming out oh my god!!!! Aloy saying that she still hears his voice in her head when she needs strength… And Beta and Aloy interacting with each other and finally really connecting + the death pact oof. Why do I have the feeling that this will come into play in the worst possible moment and drama will happen because of it… trying to ignore all of that and instead focus on them being sisters to each other <3 like both of them growing up so isolated but looking at each other and thinking ‘yes you are mine now’ like I don’t feel normal about them!! They better get a happy ending… If GG kills Beta I’ll riot I swear

Hi everyone, this is my day by day notes/thoughts/speculation/diary for HFW! I’ve already finished the game now (81 hours playtime) but I took notes throughout and I’m going to post here for each day that I played. Since I’ve finished now, there are some post-game thoughts scattered throughout, so please only read if you’re comfortable with spoilers!
