Esmé’s idea of twisted intimacy is holding prolonged, unblinking eye contact with someone. The intimacy is a threat. Esmé is threatening you.

Suhani after Origins— Holding no loyalty to the group, Suhani does not remain with the Grey Wardens for long after the Fifth Blight. It was a bitter feeling that planted itself in her mind the moment her sister was taken into their ranks, forcing Suhani's hand to join right along with her, that only grew and grew until the slaying of the Archdemon. Thus, once everything had been relatively calmed, she begins to separate herself from the Grey Wardens, but not before a visit to Weisshaupt Fortress with her mabari, Barkimides. There, she made no promises even if she was welcomed, for she had only gone for somewhat selfish reasons: any information that could point her in the direction of a cure for the taint. Within the recesses of their library were books penned by the Grey Warden Scholars, she begins to read absolutely everything she could get her hands on.

She did not acquire much, but she did acquire a heading and something so much more. There is a belief among the scholars that the Blight is a spiritual corruption, and Suhani was more than willing to take that bet.

With her direction known, Suhani left the fortress, leaving behind anything she had upon her that was of the Grey Wardens. She traveled northward and then east, towards Kirkwall. She followed rumors, she looked for someone known in the Grey Wardens, but she found her clan instead, and most importantly, Merrill. There, she will find another heading. Merrill was able to cleanse a piece of a tainted eluvian using blood magic, and Suhani began to piece things together. With the information given, she continues her search across Thedas, but more so, she begins to dabble in more arcane magicks. Along with it, she begins to attune herself more and more to the Fade. With the base of knowing spirit magic rather well, she is able to attain even more considerable knowledge, which all comes to a head when she learns to summon spirits for their help and speak with them.

They help her cure the taint and her journey seems to have ended there, but she finds out more. There is a study into tranquility that catches her eye. With one uncurable thing cured, she decides to work on another: to reverse the rite of tranquility. An annoying sort of thing that seems to cut a mage entirely from the Fade, but that seems to not be totally the case, as the whispers between the Circle mages have rumored within their passing and what Suhani is able to catch. Thus, Suhani follows those whispers, the spirits know nothing of it, but they yearn to help her as curious as they are. As her bonds with them grow, a wisp starts to come forth from the Fade and follow her around. She does not tell it to leave, simply enjoying its presence and even more, its help that allows her to realize how to reverse it: reestablish the connection between mage and the Fade through spirits.

Under a new task, even as Thedas explodes around her and the Inquisition is formed, Suhani starts to help any Tranquil mage she is able to come across. It leads her to Skyhold, to look into what the Inquisition knows, under the guise of helping the Inquisitor.

Blurting: By far, blurting is my favourite way to study. By using this method we could find our knowledge gaps and focus on them.

Quizzing Yourself: Quizzing yourself using flashcards or the app Quizlet could be extremely helpful as you are gamified your studies and make it fun. Your main motive, while using flashcards, should be to recall the information as fast as you could and get it to A 100%.

Feynman Technique: Feynman Technique is basically pretending to teach yourself or a kid in simplest words, which could be used for subjects such as History and Biology to find your knowledge gaps.

Moderate Study Techniques

Highlighting the important text so that you don't have to waste time on unnecessary text.

Re-reading your notes won't be much effective as you will only be reading your text and actually won't be able to digest the content.

WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE. standing at 5’6”, kate’s build can be described as deceptively delicate. with long legs and arms, thin wrists, and not much in terms of curves, she holds a wiry sort of strength, built from a childhood of farm-chores and a young adulthood of hefting around at times heavy meteorological equipment. her hair’s natural shade is a dark golden brown, though she’s been lightening it for years. it’s thick, and holds a gentle wave when she doesn’t straighten it. very large, very dark brown eyes framed with thick lashes peer out of a somewhat sharply formed face, with a pointed nose, squared off chin, high cheekbones and ears that are a touch prominent. her mouth is wide in her face, with a lower lip slightly more full than the upper, often slicked with a hint of sheer pink lipstick.

kate doesn’t tan, she freckles and burns, so she wears sunscreen religiously and can occasionally look very washed-out and pale.

one thing most do notice about kate, especially when wearing shorts or sundresses, is the long, prominent scar dragging down her left thigh, caused by flying debris, cut deep enough to reach bone. starting just below her hip, and ending an inch or so above her knee, she has only recently started showing it, though the injury is five years old. she also has smaller scars littered across her body, and a botched stick-&-poke tattoo in the shape of a twister on her ribs, just below her right breast.

WHAT THEY SMELL LIKE. kate has a preference for clean, fresh scents. bergamot and citrus, patchouli and fresh grass, that sort. she enjoys wearing rain by clean when it comes to perfume, and likes lemon scented shampoos and soaps. coffee and cigarette smoke also clings faintly to her, as well as hay and old wood whenever she’s back home in sapulpa. when she’s out in the field damp earth, grass and ozone tends to linger on her clothes, mixed with sweat.

WHAT THEY TASTE LIKE. sweet tea, coffee and mint. she’s trying to quit smoking, a habit she picked up in her years living in new york, so she’s frequently chewing gum or sucking on mints or guzzling caffeine. she isn’t picky when it comes to alcohol, she tried the assortment of cocktails and high-end drinks when she was in the city and going out on perfunctory friday nights with co-workers, but she genuinely just prefers beer.

WHAT THEY SOUND LIKE. kate worked hard to mask her natural oaklahoman accent, to avoid people asking her where she was from, so at times her voice can come across a touch flat and emotionless. but it slips out regardless when she’s back home, especially when talking with other southerners. the elongated vowels, the slight drawl. her voice is a touch breathy and girlish, though she can easily turn sharp and blunt in a snap.

WHAT THEY FEEL LIKE. kate has poor circulation in her legs, especially her left, so her feet are almost always cold. her hands though, are small and warm, with faint scars on her palms from her nails digging into them when she held onto the overpass during the ef5. she does keep her nails trimmed neat and short, and uses hand cream religiously so her skin doesn’t crack. she’s very lean, somewhat bony to the touch, and the scar on her thigh feels knotted and raised. when kate hugs someone, she holds on for dear life, throwing her entire heart and soul into it, and it shows.

the thing is. ginran isn't instantly going to be a happily ever after. gin committed atrocities for her , without regard for if that's something even she would want. it would result in a complicated aftermath. i also think that within gin's pursuit of revenge, he neglected not only his own feelings but he emotionally neglects the bond he and rangiku share. he keeps her in the dark because it's a liability and probably he understands what he's going to do is terrible. i still ship it so so much because. the trope of burning the entire world for the one you love appeals to me on so many levels but i also think there's so much to unpack.

Thinking about how much of a shit-kicker Esmé is going to be as a reaper (in Karma's verse).

Like he's obviously going to do what's expected of him and exceed expectations because he's programmed that way,

but he's also going to make Theodora regret making him a reaper because he can be the most infuriating being alive if he wants to.

(This is a man who 100% would sing I'm Henry VIIIth, I am I am to Theodora if it would annoy the fuck out of her, a la Ghost.)

Which is really a roundabout way of saying that Esmé takes after his great grandfather (and namesake) in that he is mischievous ... but otherwise never gets to show it.

SOFIA FALCONE + HER RISE TO POWER.

out of all of carmine's children, sofia is the one who has had the most involvement in the family's business, and has done since she was in her early - twenties. she has always been one to try and prove to her father that she was capable of doing what he needed her to do, as well as proving to those beyond the family that she was more than just the spoiled daughter of the falcone don. which is why carmine had put her in place of the falcone's new york expansion: and allowed her to experience some semblance of power and control over its much smaller operation. her capabilities were put to the test when the falcone's arrival into new york was met with retaliation from its already prevalent criminal gangs (a key opposition being from that of wilson fisk, who had actively been running the majority of the city's criminal empire). however, sofia's ability to prevail against the onslaught helped to solidify the fact that she was more than able to run the entirety of the falcone syndicate in the future: and was what ultimately made carmine officially incite her to be his heir, come his inevitable demise.

upon inheriting the entirety of the falcone empire, sofia's priority immediately shifted to their main operation in gotham: and subsequently relinquished her position in new york to her younger brother, alberto falcone. HOWEVER, THE FALCONE'S OPERATIONS IN NEW YORK CEASED, AFTER IT WAS REVEALED THAT ALBERTO WAS THE HOLIDAY KILLER — CAUSING THE NEW YORK FACTION TO CRUMBLE ENTIRELY. * the only business the falcone's have in new york now is through the transportation of illegal goods, that are kept in a secure warehouse by the docks. they are then quickly transported to new jersey, before anyone can catch wind of their arrival.
