Allright, since I went overboard will all of the other "SKZ as Greek Gods," I thought I might as well expand this reblog too. 🙃 This might not be the most original background info, but I still wanted to share it. ☺️ In Greek antiquity, the planet Venus was known as "the star of Aphrodite." Something about Greco-Roman astronomy: back then, the notion of planets didn't exist yet. Rather, planets such as Venus were referred to as "wandering stars." (Our words planet is derived from the Greek πλᾰνήται "wanderers.") In fact, it wasn't until Pythagoras (or Parmenides, depending on the source) that it was discovered the "star of Aphrodite," was actually one star. And not two different stars: the evening star and the morning star. A star for all times, you might said. 😌 *plays "Little Star" by Hyunjin in the background* 🎶
