in a constant battle against internalised racism and fatphobia i don’t get gender envy from skinny white men i don’t get gender envy from skinny white men i don’t ge-
#tarot.txt#is this a universal experience honestly it could be#nonbinary#queer#lgbtqia#trans#I could say more about this and maybe I will here in the tags like god intended#it’s just like.. there’s many angles of this from the fact that media is just generally saturated with skinny white men and they’re almost#always portrayed as attractive/desirable by both marketing and culture#(side note western perspective xo)#I didn’t include misogyny btw Bc personally I do not believe my gender stuff is specifically influenced by that like I just often lean#masculine that’s not affected for the most part by internalised misogyny#whereas as someone who is mixed race and visibly not ’white’ (I could go on and on about this bc yes I’m half english and there’s a whole#unique set of issues and experiences that come with the mixed race thing but I digress)#and as someone who is not particularly tall or skinny or like petite?? like im#not super short im about average height but im not super skinny right so clothing fits a certain way#AND ANYWAY#what im trying to say is I can acknowledge that at least part of my gender envy is actually misguided internalised prejudice#and it’s hard :(#also bc even if it was real and true gender envy I simply will never look like that I would have to change everything about me lyk#it’s not productive bc I can’t achieve that#round face flat ish nose hashtag asian moment
