Her mate might have been gone and her son now pack alpha, but that didn’t mean Renee’s work was done. With Andre’s own mate off...finding herself of whatever it was Eva thought she was doing up north (because she and Presley both believed she would return home one day and oh look, they were right), someone needed to help take care of the pack. And her son. So after dropping by to check in some of the younger ones -- including Gus and his pup, she ran by the store to pick up groceries for some of the pack elders and Andre.

Letting herself in, she called out a greeting as she headed for the kitchen, bags in hand. “Baby....you home?”

Renee headcanon: she dislikes Richard from the second he comes to town. She's ready to fight him if/when he gets out of line

Headcanon accepted. Renee pegs him as an asshole from the start. She doesn’t like him and she really doesn’t like his exploitation of Eva. The girl’s made some mistakes, sure. But she’s still family and Renee loves her. Which means she is not about to let some douchebag take advantage of her.

Richard needs to check himself before Renee literally goes into Mama Wolf mode.
