me sprinkling my current interests into whatever fic i'm writing: fuck yeah. this is going to be hilarious for all the legions of people who are into all of these specific things! (the legion is me)

#i didn't MEAN to start putting caesar conspirator references in the dps fair folk au i promise #but like. now we have charlie and todd calling each other cassius and messalla so. that's a thing #also neil as a brutus felt right considering he's the de facto leader of this little rebellion due to his charisma #but he's still politically inept and doesn’t always. make the most sound decisions #anyway. thoughts on charlie essentially abdicating the role of cassius to todd #AND THEN REFERENCING HOW CASSIUS DIES AT PHILIPPI AND MESSALLA LIVES. WHICH I'M SURE WILL HAVE NO IMPLICATIONS LATER ON ;)#also didn't consider how the cassius/messalla refs would reflect on charlie and todd's dynamic in-fic so that's just a thing that exists now #(pointing at charlie) YOU get some (un)requited queerplatonic yearning!#htoo rambles #htoo writes
