@lacertae-dreamscape tagged me and has opened a whole can of worms I’m not sure anyone’s ready to live with. I have WIPs in so many fandoms I’ve never even blogged about because I just write tiny things in whatever catches my attention, even for a moment. I guess we can start with the obvious:

Overwatch:

Confrontation: Zen meets Widowmaker for the first time after Overwatch rescues her from Talon.

Children: A fic about mine and Fran’s kid OCs, Canary and Hamsa.

Lace: A Doomyatta fic I’ve been slowly working through

Cooking with Zenyatta: Zen working as a host for a cooking show that Genji falls in love with

Arachnophobia: An attempt at a Mondatta backstory

To the Point of Exhaustion: Bodyswap genyatta smut

Over the Years: Genyatta meet when young and grow up as friends

Mutually Beneficial: Cassyatta (still have him named McCree it’s so old) smut. Zen helps Cassidy relax after a mission gone bad. Intended to be a prequel to my Dress Up fic.

Puppy: Hanzo finds a puppy and secretly keeps it on base while working with Overwatch.

In the Name of Science: Moira experiments with her tentacles on Reyes.

To Raise a Brother: Hanzo runs away from home as a kid with baby Genji. Non-canon compliant ages, made Genji a lot younger so Hanzo was about a 17 when Genji was born. I remember this was inspired by fanart but I didn’t write down whose.

Break-in: Drunk Cassidy accidentally climbs into Hanzo’s apartment window after a Pride party.

Then there’s a few I’m working on in different fandoms, too.

A BBC Merlin fic I’ve been slowly working on for… too damn long. Merlin and Arthur meet elves.

I drew this about a year ago, not sure if I posted over at Deviantart or not, but I know I have been meaning to, I had just edited it today to add my tumblr name to it, because I wanted to post here too, it is like a Cuphead OC, don’t have a name for them though.

I drew this a few days after someone hurt my feelings really badly, if I remember right it was around the same month I think...

I’m starting to wonder if that person was one of those Toxic-Christians, it would explain a lot and the reason why my words of wanting them to stop it didn’t get through and they didn’t understand how badly they were making me feel.

and believe me, I get enough of that already.

I know their words were a long the lines of

“may god have mercy on you.”

just because I see myself as both binary and non-binary, aka Fem-Agender/Now Main Name Is: Gyno-Agender, or the fact I believe in both the Divine Mother and Divine Father, don’t give them the right to use that on me.

that is a misuse of those words and it isn’t right.

I mean I made it perfectly clear how much it hurt me and it did make me cry.

but they didn’t seem to get it, or understand how much they were hurting me.

I don’t remember their name they used on Deviantart, but I do remember that I had blocked them....

I should be happy that not all Christians are like that, and I really don’t want to hear from the toxic ones or their disgusting view if they so happen to make me feel bad for being a descendant of Cain, I mean yeah I’m a descendant of Noah too.

but I can only be proud of the good that Noah’s done but not the whole thing that he did to his own grandson, he could of just punished his son and not his son’s own son, that is what I find disgusting, as well as the fact he made his own grandson a servant to one of his other sons.

and there is the whole sexism that went on with Adam apparently.

then of course because the spouse abuse, she would leave him.

life isn’t perfect, and at times it can bring you down, either what is happening like at the moment or by people...

but anyway, the way that person said that to me, made me feel bad...

even after I did try to point that out, they end up saying it again to me, and it really did hurt........

I think what keeps me together, even when people like that get me down

is being weird, as well as having things I love like reading, video games, cartoons and art, oh and friends and family too.

well being misinterpreted can get me down too, if it’s small then it can be easy to fix with another person but if it’s not, and there will be a chance the other person wont listen to reason...

I’m hoping the new misinterpretation that happen this year, can be resolved the right way....I just need to wait and hope for the best at the moment.

trying to clear up some miscommunications isn’t easy.

trying to get those who take it beyond the small misunderstandings and will even block ya because of a miscommunication, can hurt.

but I know that whole person I blocked because they kept using that “may god have mercy on you.”

wasn’t a miscommunication, they didn’t understand how badly they were making me feel even when I pointed it out and they used those words again.

I believe that is a misuse of them, but they might not see it that way.

they might not even accept the fact that I had discovered myself to be both Ace and Aroflux, well Ace/Aroflux/Fictoromantic...

which I am using for my Avatar now.

sure I can still become a attracted to real people at times, but I don’t want to enter a relationship with a real human being at the moment, I’m not sure if I can fall in love, crushes yeah and it would most likely be on cloud 8 for me, and not cloud 9...

plus I have developed semi-misanthrope, I still like humankind but there are the sides of it that can be disgusting...

but at least there is still some good in humankind.

as I said, I had discovered I am Aroflux.

I still find romance interesting, and love to ship characters together.

which of course there is more than just the “romantic ship type”

some can be Platonic Family/Friendship Based

and I still think there should be a form of nickname to use for

such non-romantic ship types, so people will not get the wrong idea.

such as “I Fam it” or “I Bud It” instead of using the whole “I ship it” which is used for the romantic type of ships, this way there will be no misunderstandings.

the whole Bud part comes from of course Buddy, which is another word for Friend.

and Fam comes from Family.

I hope those types of nicknames to use for non-romantic ships catches on.

//AIGHT FOLKS EXPLANATION TIME. The poll that I made for a new muse are the only muses that I’m considering to add, so we’ll count them as the “latest muse” for this question. There are 4 of them.

//So, because I’m poor & can’t afford a switch for Pokemon Sword/Shield, I am plotting a new story for my main verse that involves having my muses travel to the Galar Region. I doubt I’ll be able to finish writing the whole thing when Sword/Shield come out, if at all, but...it’s there nonetheless ._.; Ergo, because I don’t know diddly squat about the game (and I probably never will), it will all be non-canon. This will also be the last installment/conclusion of my main verse, so to speak. Like Sword and Shield (or any Pokemon Game, for that matter), the muses involved in the story will be different depending on who wins the poll I’ve been reblogging all week, and the story will slightly vary as well.

//If either Lysandre or Aegislash win the vote, the story will involve Gen, AZ, N, and Guzma. Or Team GANG for short. Lysandre will be the one who sent them all free tickets to Galar, and Aegislash will be the main antagonist.

In Aegislash and Cofagrigus’ case, they are actual canon muses, but with my angsty headcanons thrusted onto them. Because, you know. Ghost Pokemon.

[4. what’s the weirdest muse you’ve ever had?]

//Back when the Cuphead fandom was jivin’ (read: overhyped), I once joined a Cuphead server and rped as King Dice. Which is...the most douchebag-iest character you can choose to rp as, next to the Devil (which I’ve never seen anyone, let alone anyone in the server, take as a muse...hm.) However, because I suck at douchebaggery, he was more of a chill/laid back character…? I dunno, he wasn’t really weird to me back then, but I feel like if I tried to bring him back, it’d be pretty awkward (considering how much I love to rp ooc characters, or characters who seem ooc to most people) I do look forward to the Cuphead DLC, but roleplaying as caricature characters gets a little awkward and tricky when you deviate too far from the canon .-.

[10. if you play original muses with canon roots  ( like oc siblings, coworkers, etc. )  or someone who’s been either just a name or a few lines of dialogue in canon, how do you build that character? do you pick the muse first and build from there, or do you need have the muse ready in your head and only then pick the connection, or a combination of the two?]

//I mean...technically all my canon muses count as side characters/characters with little dialogue, but I’ll answer for my OC I guess ._.;

//It’s not hard to tell that Gen/Wolf Grunt is a self-insert. In fact, their name wasn’t always “Gen” either. For the longest time, they were named after me (and they were Morty’s girlfriend). It wasn’t until Gen 6 that I started thinking about them as their own character. More or less. Most of it was just picking stuff and going from there, or building off of stuff that I already had. As far as their abilities go, they used to be a lion/wolf therian hybrid, but of course that made no sense, so I changed them to just be a lycan (and once Beta Gold/Silver was revealed I was like: hey let’s make them a reincarnation of Sui so I can have an actual explanation for their wolf powers). They also used to have Steven’s reality warping powers, so I got rid of those. The only thing that hasn’t really changed is their candid personality.

//Then there’s the GEMS. Team GEMS (and more importantly, the disbanding of it), was always a central part of their character, so I had to flip their relation with Morty and Steven. More or less. Morty went from being a romantic relationship to a familial one, and Steven went from a familial relationship to just a platonic relationship. Since they’re crime fighting heroes (and since I hate contrived romance plots), I HAD to change Gen’s relation to Morty from being lovers to a father/daughter relationship. Morty was technically the leader of the team: He was the strategist, so it made more sense (at least to me) if the team was created as a family rather than as a group of random friends with a questionable love triangle going on (Steven didn’t count in that whole spiel because SteveN ship). In all honesty, I’m not sure why I changed Gen’s relationship to Steven. I guess I decided having familial relationships with two characters is enough for them…? Plus, since all of my characters have powers, it wouldn’t make much sense to claim these two were related just because they have shapeshifting abilities, since lycanthropy is a heckuva lot different than changing your age accidentally on purpose.

//As far as other relationships go, the only thing that hasn’t changed is Gen’s relation to Eusine and their Sinnoh heritage. Although Eusine may have assisted Morty in raising Gen, they still consider him as more of a brother than a father, especially when he did nothing to oppose Morty from kicking them out of the house. Also, the reason why the main protagonist’s mom in Diamond is their abusive mom is because Diamond was my first game.

//TL; DR version: Gen was mainly built from scratch & has gone through a lot of changes that were necessary to rp them/make some sense to my writing
