honestly i would have liked aa5 apollo significantly more if they hadn’t given him that weird shounen boy design
#the gauze eyepatch the apparently useless full arm bandages…. comeon man#like i don’t think apollo’s arc is that ooc in its broad strokes but the redesign just makes apparent the fact that they literally just#wanted any excuse to make him seem cool and tortured#none of the character designers who have worked on aa are bad and aa5-aa6 have some great designs#(phoenix and edgeworth updated suits anyone. because holy shit. also blackquill’s surcoat fucking rocks)#but i think we just have to accept that takuro fuse has the worst lineup of aa designs#the athena concepts piss me off because like wow you were really just throwing spaghetti at the wall till the very end huh.#yet another example of the 3d mainlines understanding that aa is absurd while failing to touch on the right kind of absurdity#aa#frogs.txt
