especially i think it would be interesting if you did it as like. one of those “the characters get drugged/put into an illusion/whatever” tropes but. it’s like a prison within a prison because you’ve got the first layer of it being the severance universe and then the second layer of the devastation wrecked by forcefully breaking the characters into innies and outies. prisoners within a prison within a prison and they don’t even know it. yes i do like angst why do you ask.

#obviously this is done by bwx/jw #OHHHHH OH OH. OH OKAY WAIT HANG ON.#what if he manages to survive. SOMEHOW. and hl get a couple of years of happiness. and then suddenly with no warning and no memory of #their real lives. they get trapped in the severance illusion. bwx spends those years slowly slowly dragging himself back to power #but being QUIET about it so no one knows. and then he strikes without warning. because this time he refuses to fail.#and then like add onto the severance horror the fact that hc keeps having moments of de ja vu but he can’t quite grasp what FOR #and if he could just remember if he could just figure it out it could end the illusion #but the illusion/spell is tricky. it’s specifically designed to make him not see the faultlines. to make his mind #come up with explanations. so he can look as hard as he wants but his mind will slide over it no matter how hard he tries if he #does it alone.#(obviously the way they get out of it is hc and xl managing to reunite and together overpower and break the illusion #with the power of love <3 and then they fucking kill bwx and live happily ever after for real THE END)#sorry about the tag rant i started thinking and then my mind spiralled you know how it is #c.txt
