struck by the realization that me as a now-reader seeing show-onlys ship elayne and nynaeve and going "what?????? i mean, i don't HATE it, but............what??!?!?!!" must've been exactly how you longtime readers felt seeing MY show-only ass coming up with wild ships (notably ef4 polycule) during season 1
