could you share some thots and feelings on gael's baby boy if you've got some already?? who is he? what's his story? does he play a role in the eventual Dance? he's such a precious princeling!!!!!!!§

thank you very much for your interest anon ❤️ I have so many thoughts so here are ten fun facts about him:

Aeron LOVES his mom. so much. she could have given him away and continued her life as a princess but she chose - even fought - to keep him, accepted the consequences and never regretted it 

just like Saera’s sons, his claim to the throne was disregarded at the Great Council on the basis of his birth

he eventually gets legitimized as his adopted/step dad’s heir, hence why he is wearing the colors and coat of arms of House Langward in my doodle

Aeron is a menace. he is snarky, witty and turns out to be a huge flirt when he is older and is a bit of a medieval frat boy I guess (the frat being nobility and/or his friends from the Stepstones). but he is also very eager to prove that Rolland (his adopted dad) didn’t make a mistake making him his heir so he takes his role very seriously and tries to be a good lord

after the War for the Stepstones, Aeron and several other boys that participated get knighted by Daemon in KL

Aeron is bi and a bit of a manwhore. he is extremely mindful not to father any bastards though as he has learned first hand how both the women who have them and the children themselves are treated and doesn’t want to condemn his partners and hypothetical kids to that

Laenor and Joffrey are part of the group of boys/teenagers Aeron befriended at the Stepstones and kept friends with afterwards. his and Laenor’s relationship is my roman empire

Aeron is a girl dad. he and his wife have only daughters and he adores each and every one of them. they have him wrapped around their little fingers and are as much, if not even more of a menace as he is/was

he can sing and play the lute, which he learned to impress a lady and has since been quite useful in many other conquests. later on he uses it mainly to entertain his daughters

he will be siding with team black in the Dance, though I will be making some changes to the line-up (basically, I want to keep Laenor alive. he deserves better than either show or book canon)
