Why do I always create DND characters that are either;
-Not a bard, but has a 'stereotypical bard personality', has some sort of creative thing (often an instrument they play) and constantly gets mistaken for a bard
-Bard with absolutely no 'stereotypical bard personality' that gets confused for other classes 90% of the time
#the duck quacks#the only bard i actually played was a Dragon born absolutely sweet soul (and idiot) with 3+ STR named Charles#he got mistaken for a paladin a couple times#my other characters were an ex-circus magician turned thief (who still enjoys performing alot)#(named Festo after the one from TAZ coz o couldnt think of an OG name)#a tiefling warlock who was a dramatic fucker with a violin named William (often mistoken for a Rouge or Bard)#(MY OWN DM BRIEFLY THOUGHT HE WAS A BARD)#and i have 1 character who is a wild magic sorcerer named Primrose who isnt really a bardic type#but also shes pretty much an art student and loves painting so even she gets some of the CreativeTM personality#(i also have an unplayed character who is literally a warlock pretending to be a bard)#i just like playing dramatic or artsy fuckers
