He thought hard on Caedes's words. No point in getting into the details of what he could see - the fact that he travelled with a dragonborn, though not the look in his eyes nor the scars which marred their scales - as that would usually just raise more questions which were as annoying to deal with the first time as they are the hundredth time; well, it's really more an advanced processing of sound which turns what I hear into a kind of visual experience and yes, I still very much am blind, for I cannot, nor have I ever been able to, see in the way people with the sense have described it countless of times. At that point, the script for both sides was basically memorised. And some time after Caedes finished speaking, Rynn finally took his turn. 'Well,' he began, 'fuck them.' An expletive which would perhaps sound odd coming from one whose tone was not dissimilar from one a nobleman might carry. 'People like that won't usually let up. Even if they let you go on your way, they'd probably treat the next person they didn't like the look of - because they were frightening, or they just didn't adhere to their own views - the same way. Who's to say the next person wouldn't be a woman or a child?' Rynn subconsciously gripped the edge of the ledge upon which he sat. 'You probably did the right thing.'
"It seems I existed where I was not supposed to." Caedes wrinkled his nose. The smell of blood didn't bother them much, but the discomfort of the nosebleed was very much irritating. It was more the sensation than the pain; but it seemed too minor to waste a potion on. "I am not the most... charismatic individual," Caedes said, with a soft sigh, "And unfortunately, although I am aware you cannot tell, I am very frightening to look at. A tall, broad dragonborn, broken and scarred; there's a reason many choose to flee or to fight rather than bare to talk with me."
