It was just another day back at Clemens Point, two days after John’s train job, despite the law showing up fast, it went well and they grabbed a pretty decent score for camp and were back over two-hundred so things were going well now. For the first time in a little while, everyone at camp was in a good mood. They had Meat for the Stew, Medicine and plenty of Ammo so things were great right now. It probably helped with the many upgrades of all the gangs beds too, everyone had a bed made extra comfortable with animal pelts Arthur had brought back.

Sitting around camp at the poker table, with a knife and wood. John was whittling a wooden spoon to pass time. As he kept on, John heard Sean doing what he always did, bother everyone around camp, especially Arthur. Thinking about it, Sean never got much praise. Sure he had a mouth that could talk another person to death, but outside of that, he was an energetic young man who was always full of spirit. Everyone made mistakes, so even though Sean was knocked over easily in the train job, the kid still tried his best, surely that was enough to give him some kind of credit.

Putting his unfinished wooden utensil away in his own satchel, John decided to approach the young man who greeted him by his usual name of Scarface. Which is what some liked to call him ever since he got the wolf scratches. John ignored it so he wouldn’t get annoyed.

Sean to me was always the life of the party, it really is sad that he’s the first one to go, I feel like they could have done a bit more with him before that one mission where it goes to hell. First playthrough a while back, I always loved Sean’s way of picking at people. He had great jokes and one liners. my favorite will always be what he said about Dutch finding Micah (Crawled out of the outhouse one day, Dutch was so amazed, he let him come with) I laughed p damn hard when I first heard it. You know a character is amazing when your wishing the character was more involved, and that is definitely how I feel about Sean. It was a little sad that he didn’t have many interactions with John around camp. Sean is truly one of the characters I wish had made it through to the end.

I’ll call ya by your pen name for now. But Bambi! There is a few things I def wanna say. So, we’ve only spoken a few times in the IM’s, but each chat was pleasant :)  You’re def very kind, Friendly and very approachable and you have a lot of heart for your muses. Amazing OC’s to those two canons.

There isn’t any other Sean on tumblr (At least from what I’ve seen) but regardless, even if I don’t see as much Sean stuff, I can still tell you adore him a lot from the details you put in your replies as him. And Milton, well, John would have nothing but terrible things to say about him XD

But you have just as much heart for Milton as do you for Sean. You can always seem to bring the intensity that Milton brings with him in the game, I can always feel it in your threads as him. Your writing in general is very amazing beautifully written and you do your best with attention to detail and it definitely shows. Please feel free to come drop in for a chat anytime. I could list quite a few, to be honest, but rather bore you I’mma just ramble quickly about just one: the treatment of ocs in this roleplay community. I can’t stand how ocs are treated like they’re some lower life form and canons are treated like gods. There is literally nothing different between ocs and canons at all. They were all ocs at one point. Not to mention, they’re all characters written by muns who wish to write their characters. How is a mun writing a character from a show any different from another mun writing an oc they created personally?

I’ve had countless people come to me (on my other blogs) asking for advice because they’ve felt so isolated and ignored on their ocs and were so close to just giving up because they felt like no one wanted to roleplay with them. That is appalling, to be honest. No one should be made to feel that way. People should be welcomed in this community and sure while canons are, it’s like more effort is required for ocs. They have to ‘work their way up’ in order to be accepted, hell even acknowledged as a ‘proper’ roleplayer - like they’re ‘wanted’.

Ocs should be given the same respect and treatment as canons. Like I said before, there is no difference between them. Canons aren’t higher than ocs and ocs aren’t higher than canons. In the end they are all characters that were created by someone and those people writing for those characters all just want to write, too.

Probably a Fred or a George, maybe? O.o I’m just going off the top of my head here. It’s early and I’m still a little bit sleepy haha. But yeah a Fred or George would be interesting, especially considering their personalities how they’re both (Amelia included) trouble makers and mischievous and whatnot. Plus even though Fred and George have never met Amelia’s father, the fact that he was one of four responsible for creating the marauders map and Fred and Geroge were basically *hallelujah* about the map, just makes me wonder if those three/two would get along really well what with Amelia essentially being a ‘mini-James’.

🍀 = a ship I wish to write

Neville/Amelia. I’ve never written with a Neville before but I would LOVE to explore the possibility of a brotp happening between them. I’ve just got this image in my head of Amelia being completely nonjudgmental of Neville, like him appearing clumsy, timid or an ‘almost-squib’. Amelia is incredibly naive with the wizarding world so everything is new to her and she wouldn’t understand the way of the wizarding world so she basically wouldn’t have any means to treat him like the rest, or the meaner students, would treat him. I also reckon she would stand up for Neville - give him words of encouragement - and probably would sock a punch to Crabbe and/or Goyle whenever they gave him shit.

To be honest, I have a number of songs that remind me of Amelia (some of even which are on my playlist on my blog) but I’ll just pick one for now so this doesn’t turn into a novel, haha. Carmen by Lana Del Rey is one song that never fails to get me into an Amelia mood. The song just screams her, to be honest: describing how Amelia hides her pain behind a poker face, lies and a fake smile/tough exterior.

Even this (↓) part of the lyrics makes me feel like it’s really talking about Amelia’s views and feelings of being a witch, as well losing her entire adoptive family. Onto the latter bit, to me, all I can think about is Amelia did become (somewhat) famous at an early age when her existence was revealed to the wizarding world and compared to everyone else she is naive (in replacement of ‘dumb’) to the wizarding world. 

Of course, her fame is nowhere near as big as Harry’s and certainly not the entire wizarding world know who she is, but it’s just more of when she goes into Hogwarts cause her arrival does cause gossip and rumours to spread. ‘She says, “You don’t want to be like me Don’t wanna see all the things I’ve seen.” I’m dying, I’m dying She says, “You don’t want to get this way Famous and dumb at an early age.” Lying, I’m lying’

Just how accepting it is. I honestly thought barely anyone or no one was going to want to roleplay with me when I brought Amelia onto tumblr. Part of me even expected it, especially since my oc was the twin sister to Harry and ocs like that generally have a bad rep due to some of the ones commonly seen in fanfiction. But people in the hp fandom have been so incredibly sweet to me, even now I’m always in awe and taken aback. It’s seriously one of the most wonderful fandoms I’ve ever been in and I feel so blessed.

PHYSICAL.
