honestly one of the funniest and most charming things about eiffel is how normal his opinions are. his big star wars rants are "han shot first" and how much he hates the prequels + digital remasters. most of his favorite movies and bands are exactly what you'd expect for his demographic. he's a "controversial opinion: pineapple goes on pizza" dating app guy and he takes that seriously. you could set him loose in any store full of nostalgia bait guy memorabilia - a real old-playboy-magazines-and-license-plates type of place - and he'd lose his mind.

I didn't really have any Pink Floyd merch before but me and my friend were walking around a mall with a huge vinyl/CD section that also has some band merch yesterday and there I saw this beauty – even reduced at a 50% sale :D Like I usually only see pf merch related to DSOTM, The Wall or Animals so this was a really nice find

while I think of all of them as having something a little wrong with them I realize I set such different standards for pink floyd vs. the beatles. if paul said “I’m using george in now & then because his ghost told me it was okay” I’d think “yah that’s average paul bullshit for you and also maybe really happened” but if david said “I’m using rick in luck & strange because his ghost told me it was okay” I’d think his family needs to take him to the hospital immediately

I was about ten or eleven years old when I first heard of a band called Pink Floyd and for some reason I was convinced that it was a girl punk or emo band. I hadn't seen any pictures of them or heard any of their songs or even song titles, it's just the name that made me think that for years until my mom mentioned that I would probably like them about a year ago and I just listened to their top song on Spotify, that is Another Brick In The Wall pt. 2. Then I really got into them last fall and finally found out what kind of band they really are, but it's still funny to think about how I imagined them when I was younger lol
