Thinking about Tayrn Smithson saying that Rumpleteazer feels like without Mungojerrie she'd be all alone :(
#she also says she's afraid that without mungo she wouldn't have the community ? because he introduced her to the junkyard#she says she might go down a darker path without that and mmmm omg#she plays Rumpleteazer (and Brian does as well) as still working for Macavity during the show#and seeing Grizabella as a reflection of what she could have become if she hadn’t been so lucky#(many Demeter and Bombalurina actresses share similar thoughts about their characters)#but Rumpleteazer feels different (at least to me) since she’s younger than them#and one of her defining traits is literally “impressionable” so you can imagine how much worse it was for her to be working for Macavity#But then there’s that small glimmer of hope—meeting Mungojerrie#who makes her feel less alone#who understands her and accepts her#even though he’s also done things he’s not proud of and she feels she can relate to him so much.#And she’s so afraid of losing him and that bond.#Take that as you will#but she did say her Rumpleteazer has a crush on Mungojerrie#based on the “facts” Chrissie Cartwright gave her#either way im ill about Rump#rumpleteazer#mungojerrie#mungoteazer#ifyouwant
