His hands run down his face in exhaustion as he walks down the halls back to Cordelia and they run into each other. Why of course he has a suite at Queen’s, too: He is the biggest TV star right now, after all. Why was he even here at the moment? Had he heard him on the phone and come to eavesdrop? He certainly had heard more than he thought someone would. His laughter was nails on a chalkboard to Spamton’s ears, sputtering him into words growled through gritted teeth.

*I’m aware, you jerk. He hasn’t steered me wrong yet. The question is why you were peeping in on me like that?!

Feeling his temper rising, he forces himself to look away from Tenna’s eyes, moving past him and straightening his tie.

*And I would, too! It’s hard to miss a Lightner, let alone an Angel, when they’re so few and far in between these days. You’re the one who wouldn’t recognize a visitor from Heaven you-

He sucks in air between his teeth. Breathing in and out, calming himself. Tenna frustrates him so much, he tends to actively avoid him-and besides, he is not letting Cordelia see him like this.
