i need to write a sketch where i play a guy who speaks in an old-timey voice at some point bc i was just running lines with one of my suitemates who's in a sketch show and one of the sketches i had to read the lines of the monopoly man and both of us where like ok but why am i lowkey selling this monopoly man character holy shit

#it's not an impression of any existing monopoly man voice bc i don't do impressions but it WAS a distinctive voice!!#which is cool bc i usually just use my voice for my characters so it's interesting when i figure out how to go somewhere interesting #now i just need an excuse to keep working on it lmao #other voices i need an excuse to bring back are kids-movie-elf-voice (again i just did it to help someone else run lines for a santa sketch #and demonic-childish-voice (idk how to even describe it bc it was for a very specific character in a play my friend wrote years ago)#that one is the most different from my speaking voice but also no human talks like that so idk when i can bring it back even tho its so fun #i also remember in improv a while back i improvised this thing called ''grandad radio'' with a DIFFERENT old man voice #(like this one is old-timey like newsreels from the 1930s vs the other one sounds like a very old man)#idk someone cast me as these roles i can't figure out what sketch i want to write for them
