thinking abt kay’s relationship w her bio dad and their so funny. and actually one of the healthier dc father/daughter rels
#oc: katherine mulaney#he shows up bc he hears one of batman’s sidekicks uses a bow and he wants to best her#(kay’s not a batman sidekick but that’s semantics to reporters)#and then kay beats him!#so he investigates her decides she has to be his kid and gets a dna test#and he’s right!#and everyone knows except kay and literally no one tells her bc like wat are you supposed to do#and batman tells Green Arrow he should be thankful he’s not kay’s bio dad❤️#she finds out later when he comes back to pick her up for some crime! except she’s trying to foil him the entire time and he knows but he’s#cool w it#incredible dynamic i love tnem even more wirh the addition of comic tommy who’s kind of a loser and presumed dead so merlyn moves onto his#alive kid who’s actually good at winning#and he’s better than her semi-adopted dad (bar was so low)#it means nothing to either of them really which i think is the really the kicker#she’s not his son and he’s not her her dad#but their there#oc katherine mulaney
