cons of winter :

cold (but its easy to warm up by layering up or going inside)

wet (umbrella)

cant really do stuff outside (plenty to do inside)

plants are dead (looks miserable but ah well)

cloudy (again, looks sad but who cares)

cons of summer :

so fucking hot (no escape. british houses dont have air conditioning)

only way to cool down is by wearing less (i love layering up and i dont like having my arms and legs showing)

need to drink more (if i go out i need to bring multiple beverages)

sweat. everywhere. everyones sweaty. everyone bloody smells. my clothes are sticking to my skin. i feel itchy. eugh (alternatively everyone stinks of deodorant)

so bright. my poor sensitive eyes. owie (i mean yeah sunglasses but theyre so annoying)

cant run anywhere because i will die from heat

its light outside until like 9:30 - 10pm. it starts getting light at about 3am. (my room looks so much nicer in the dark)

cant drink hot beverages because its too hot to drink hot stuff

summer is so glorified that you end up going out in summer a lot more than winter so youre exposed to these problems a lot more

we have to strategically time when to take the dog out so he doesnt get heatstroke

its so muggy and humid in the UK everyone feels tired and grouchy (myself included i am so tired rn)

i have to put suncream on my UNWILLINGLY EXPOSED arms and legs or i will fucking burn up. who is allowing this.

too hot to sleep. if its cold then you just bundle up but if its hot WHAT YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT?????

too hot for technology so computers are more likely to die and phones are more likely to overheat

anything metal or glass becomes a health and safety issue. yeah sorry kid cant go to the park or you might get 2nd degree burns from the fucking slide.

also anything white can become a risk to your eyes because of how bright it is when the sun shines on it
