I watched Red One last night and, my lord, did I love it. The chemistry between Dwayne and Chris was stunning but I just wanted to comment on a few things. Mostly about the piano and the shrinking.

I feel like the piano is so perfectly placed there, because Chris was a fan of piano and it also represents looking back at the past years, since Chris used to play piano wih his brother, Scott. I also think if you take away the negativity of Christmas that Jack has and the fact that he's a tracker, I feel like him and Chris are so alike. Since Jack has a child that loves music, and Chris loved music at a young age, and still does, the kid and Jack both perfectly represent Chris. But I could just be wrong on that point.

Secondly, the shinking that Dwayne has to do. I feel like it was an idea from Marvel (Ant Man specifically) and Chris may or may not have brought it up, since he is still a qualified director (again, could well be wrong). But all in all, I think the whole shrinking thing is.smart and such a good "comic relief" part of the film.
