The Burrow was beginning to be where Percy spent more of his days. After his father was found, Percy continued to swing around his home where he knew his family would be. There was reassurance and comfort where the rest of the world was being dragged around. He had just got over having odds with George and now Charlie was a thorn in his thigh. The obnoxious brother of his had the nerve to play victim while holding his cards to his chest. Percy knew he didn’t deserve everyone’s trust but he hoped he would’ve gained his family’s trust back. Knowing that Charlie still felt like this only assured Percy of his own doubts of himself. It was the weekend and he didn’t have work but that didn’t mean the stress from it didn’t stop. Kingsley seemed to be aware of where Percy was as letters kept coming to him enough for him to retreat to his room to correspond with the Minister. The recent attack and break in only made Percy work harder to the point he took his dinner upstairs.
After a few conversations through various letters, he stepped downstairs to find the Burrow near abandoned. He heard a shout outside and with a quick glance out the window, saw his family playing quidditch. Percy wasn’t offended he wasn’t asked because he had always put down offers and wasn’t athletically inclined. When he reached the kitchen he realized he wasn’t alone. There was a woman he hadn’t seen before in the Burrow and with one glance down he realized who she was. This was the woman Charlie had mentioned before as she had a pronounced stomach. He realized in that moment, Charlie hadn’t even said her name in that fit of words. He knew that she had something going on with the Redeemers and she was pregnant clearly. “Evening,” he said, feeling the space grow tighter around them. Already he had reserved tension for her but he blamed Charlie for letting that happen. “I’m sorry, I missed the introductions. I was upstairs.”

For the first time in weeks, Wade went to a Redeemer meeting after being out of the loop with the incident of the train. There was also the fact that they possessed the most powerful wand and he didn’t even know how they had done that, his intrigue pulling him in even more. It was almost enough not to snap himself out of the glamour of the Redeemers. It was their power and ideas that had initiated his interest and it was again. He was also going to these meetings to protect Susan. It was the bare minimum that he owed her after everything. They had a life together and a future and a house. They were going to get through this together and that meant being transparent with each other. He didn’t wish to know her meetings with the New Order but it seemed the Redeemers had the upper hand that needed to be watched.
He was matched with Harriet which was never a problem as Wade liked Harriet and was one of the few he genuinally liked. When he owled her that he was coming over to talk things over he actually thought that it would be more conversation than perhaps a Redeemer mission. The details were subsided from his mind, focusing more on Harriet. When he got to her place, he knocked and when she answered, a sliver of a smile caught his face. “Hey-” he began, but his eyes dropping down to her growing stomach and his smile twitched before widening. “Harriet-who-when-” His excitement was swallowed when he remembered why he was there. “You can’t-do they know?”

Being pulled for a mission wasn’t surprising but at least it was with Harriet, someone he was able to get along with. They had been instructed to go to a shop in Knockturn Alley for some information about any leads to items in the unspeakable department. It was the only source they had at the moment and it was what they were going to use. Wade had been out in the shop while Harriet was in the back talking to the owner. There was a suspicion that she was asking the man in a nice manner but he roamed around the shop as he waited. Wade saw a figure with glowing eyes and carrying a sword. Curiosity got the better of him and his hands raised to fix the sword, triggering the statue figure to start making peculiar noises. He cursed under his breath, trying to hush it. At that moment, he saw Harriet appear and the shop owner behind her. He ignored the sounds that filled the shop and gestured for them to leave, throwing a thankful smile over his shoulder and hoping to never return. “Did you get what you needed? What did he say?”
