omg when colby goes under the estes method… perfection. best results every time… i wonder whyyy guyyyssss 👀
ok i need to rewatch those episodes bc i wanna hear what they say about it even if it is just in passing, i wanna sus the tones lol
they do balance each other so well thats why it works. colby coming from a religious side and sam from an agnostic (i hope im not mislabeling sam there, im just going off a few things ive heard him mention and then also he only seems to go along with any religious angle - like praying - when colby instigates it)
SUDDNLY JUST REMEMBERED omg remember when rhey went to that satanic cave tunnel thing in the uk and niki was doing the estes and the spirit responded to colby with “you’re sick” and this was right before chemo?? Omggg bruh idk why that just came to me but my brain just exploded
- aussie anon
I haven't watched either in a while, so maybe I'm wildly misrepresenting these in my tiny, fried little brain but the numerology discussion during the Winchester one is (if you believe in Numerology of course) very interesting.
Also, the Bowers one makes me laugh cause I think it's the ONE TIME Colby was just being smart and logical rather than psychic or empathic - which, of course, means it's the one time they actually try to tie something he does back to any kind of intuition. 🤣
I know they've touched on it in other episodes but those two are the ones that jump out to me.
Oh, also! If you haven't already and want a good time, watch the Mizpah Hotel video. That's another good one for both "Colby may be an empath" and "Colby is a magnet that is absolutely hypnotizing everything living and dead" content.
Oh and the Hell Fire Caves - what's funny (not funny haha) about that "you're sick" comment is that Niki teacted to that video on a livestream and mentioned that everyone in that cave at that moment immediately knew that line was directed at Colby, because that was filmed in between surgery and chemo. They kind of downplayed it in the video, I think, but it seemed even in real time they all felt that one and how on the nose it was.

The last book of the 2022 Read Christie challenge ans probably my last book of the year (unless i can finish half of AGOT in the next 3 days).
Hercule Poirot's Christmas is set from Dec 22-27 with each chapter taking place on a different day. I mostly tried to read the chapters on their corresponsing days which was fun (though admittedly i did fall a lil behind over christmas eve/day). It wasn't as festive as I was expecting a book set over christmas to be but the murder was quite gruesome so that makes sense lmao. None of those poison shenanigans this time, its a proper bloody one.
I think 1 part in the solution would have made more sense to a contemporary audience than it does today but otherwise it was good!
