Does anyone have LotR ebooks they'd be willing to share with me (or even just The Two Towers)? I already own very nice physical copies of the books which have been out for 67 years, I just want to stealthily read them at work.

#i was even going to use my g**gle play store credit to nab them but it won't let me use my credit for part and then pay the remaining $3??#THEN i tried to borrow them from the internet archive my beloved and they said i had to have adobe software to open them????? fuck THAT #AND THEN i tried to borrow it w/hoopla though my local library and i got all the way through the account-making process #and it keeps saying internal server error when i try to borrow it!!! and there IS an ebook available; i checked; they didn't “run out”#(i'm salty about that whole insane concept too but that's a different rant)#PLEASE. LET ME READ THEM. JFC.#lotr #(yes i realize i should've tried the library first but i thought i had enough credit for this and it turns out i don't AND i can't use it)#*THROUGH my local library
