I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but why did Louis say Lestat swore himself to Louis in 1911? Wasn't Louis turned the year before? Or is it to make the times on the show consistent because Louis said he was born in 1878 and made a vampire when he was 33 and 1878+33=1911?

It's not a stupid question at all, anon! I actually think it's one of the areas the show's writers have gotten their wires crossed, because like you said, Louis says he was born in 1878 in 1.07, yet he was 33 when he 'drank the waters in 1910', and in the pilot, he says he was 33 in 1910, and he and Lestat's 'friendship' / courtship was definitely depicted as taking roughly over six months/under a year, which you can see in this timeline.

That post features the screenshot of Paul's tombstone too, which explicitly shows his date of death as being the 3rd May 1911, and Louis was turned the day of Paul's funeral, so presumably within the week. So yeah! I think he and Lestat met in 1910, but Louis wasn't turned / he and Lestat weren't 'married' until 1911.
