ship drama doesnt rlly mean anything but it kinda Irks Me when people think jeremy/brooke is “less cliche” than jeremy/christine on the basis that jeremy getting the girl he likes is a cliche. cuz it always discounts christine’s strength as a character and her dynamic with jeremy.

like i feel like a popular girl falling for an unpopular boy isnt as revolutionary as you may think (especially since most people go off a cast where both are white), especially under the circumstances, whereas it’s so damn rare i see a female love interest who is so blatantly neurodivergent coded (and not in an objectified manic pixie dream girl way, bc it shows she gets mistreated for her weirdness and that she has a lot of anxiety of her own that she can’t quite overcome), and idk while i love brooke and people can read her as neurodivergent if they want it just. annoys me. that people still discount her and jeremy as “cliche” and can’t ship jeremy with anybody else without shitting on how jeremy and christine’s moments together are so full of relatable autistic/adhd coding.
