We interrupt Absolute Hope’s Birthday to bring you a post that’s probably going to get waay too long and sentimental.
Precisely one year ago today, I looked at a certain Hope Dope’s wiki page, realised it was his birthday, and gushed about it to a friend. I jokingly sent them a few sprites along with dialogue Nagito would totally be using in that situation, realised I liked it, made a sideblog that I planned to leave untouched for a period of time until I was sure I wanted a new muse, and...opened it by day’s end because I have no self-control. Eventually, that sideblog was remade into the mess you know and tolerate today. I was nervous and a little anxious, because I’d had some very bad experiences in other RP circles, but in the past year, I’ve actually fallen into this incredibly positive and wonderful group of talented people who have encouraged me to become better as a writer and a mun; so I figure, why not mark the date by celebrating those people? Please note, this isn’t a follow forever. I’m always too trepidatious to do those, because I always feel like I’m going to leave someone out. Think of this as a callout post of the very best kind. Without you amazing people, this blog would not be.
--In no particular order, of course; and some of you may get mentioned by more than one account. Some of you, I may not be able to mention by name. But just know, everyone here, called out directly or indirectly, has influenced this blog in a wonderful way!
@ask-thebrothers-kaiba: without whom I may never have had the courage to step back into canon character rp. Without knowing anything about Komaeda or the fandom, this angel gave me the encouragement I needed, just because I needed it. And they’re still one of the best friends I’ve ever made on this hellsite. Not to mention a Top Quality writer and artist.
@fxshionable-mxsks: believe it or not, you were the very first person I threaded with. First, and still a favourite. Thank you for the warm welcome.
@lxckyinsxnity, @komacda, @fortunefucked, @nagitc, & all my other Ko mutuals and multimuses: here’s to people who love our boy as much as I do. Thank you for thinking of ways to tackle him I never could, and inspiring me to keep being creative.
@rxg-txg, @the-taboo-king, @theholylight, @soaringpilot-and-littlewing, @pxlotspeaking, @diviisus, @ishcni: all people I arguably thread or plot with the most right now. Without exception, a gifted group of creative writers. I adore each and every one of you for what you bring to this blog in character, but also out of character, too. You’re all amazing, amazing people who make me feel warm and welcome.
@ahogedetective, @burdenedname, @kisstheshslcook, @luminaryblood, @nonludum, @robot-fxcker, @springslain, @theliarandtheultimate, @ultimctepoet, @x-hopelesshope-x: I have either active or semi-active threads with each of these people, and while you may not necessarily be my most common partners - in fact, some of you are very new to me - I do adore everything we have going. I know the word ‘talent’ gets thrown around a lot ‘round these parts, but these people have oodles to spare.
---A moment for all my past partners, who I don’t have anything with right now; hit me up, you guys. There’s too many to tag, but sometimes I like going back and reading over old things, just because it’s a lot of fun.
@sammibr0, @jaycesrpmainaccount, @kikothepianist, @theiicarus, @ru-kitty-chu, @katherine-sagami, @fierabreeze, @hazuukashi, @entwinedthreads, @ultimatetalentless, @shslbaby-yakuza, @hckerman: All amazing people, who don’t 100% fit into the categories above. Whether you’re here because I bounce a lot of stuff off you, because I’ve noticed your name in my notes a lot, because we’re always IM-ing back and forth, because we thread on occasion and I adore your portrayal, because your work is just hecking awesome and inspires me to step up my game, because you make me smile, because you’ve been a really great friend to me, or any combination thereof; you should know my blog would not have turned out the same without you guys.
I kind of can’t tag these people, but all the anons who have left ideas that have spiraled out of control into entire plots and AUs of their own.
And finally, here’s one for everybody who’s ever contributed to my time here in any way. Everyone who’s ever threaded or plotted with me; dropped me something in my IMs, tagged me in stuff, spammed my notes, stalked me from afar or anear; anyone, without whom, my time here would be different in any way shape or form. If you’re reading this and thinking, “that doesn’t include me” -- it 100% does. I can’t tag absolutely everyone who’s ever touched my experience here in any way, but I hope I can make it clear how much I appreciate all of you. I’ve made no secret of the love I have for what this kind of communication between people can do. When people crate, whether their work is objectively “good” or “bad”; they do something in a way only they can do. They bring what only their one-of-a-kind selves can bring. That makes every word and every line precious. What the way things are written and interpreted creates is a moment that never can and never will be seen again. That’s an incredible thing to share between people, from all around the world, all with different lives and backgrounds. So, thank you to everybody for making this blog worth logging onto almost every day for the past 365. I can’t wait to see what the next year brings!

Haven’t met you yet | Mark
Masterlist (3/4) | part1 - part2 - part4
Starring: MK x You
Tags: Mark Tuan, Fluff, Destiny, Waiting, Christmas, Bookworm, Nerd, Love, Fate
Total WC: 2194
You nearly puked your guts out to the sight of Jackson sticking to Eunhee and hugging her like forever has been robbed from them. You failed to confide to your best friend about what happened to you in the last 24 hours. So as not to spoil their couple time together, you chose to not disturb them and just mingle with all the kids in the sweet treats section. You love kids so much you play Santa and distributed macarons to each one of them. As expected, most of your close friends and guests brought their own boyfriends, if not, their own husbands and it was a nice show to witness, with sarcasm aside. Thanks to Jackson’s little cousins, they keep you entertained with their bubbly personality.
“One with the kids, sure you’re missing the party in the adult section, no?” The sight of a guy clad in a formal white dress shirt, tucked in a black denim pants partnered with a classic chuck taylor, and a gray winter coat, welcomed your eyes. Guys who dress fashionably is such a head turner for you.
“Actually, they keep me company so I’m having fun to be honest.” You replied, feeling all the weird sensation cascading across your spine. You feel a bit nauseous whenever guys approach you. You don’t know if you even want to be with a guy right now, after your embarrassing experience last night.
“My cousins here are a bunch of nuisance, you’ll get tired of them soon.” He picked one matcha macaron from the aisle and took a bite of it. You observed his expression. A smile crept up to his face and you caught sight of Eunhee in a distant, gossiping to Jackson that you’re having a moment with his cousin. You certainly know that they’re mentally pairing you up already and you are growing nervous about the plans that they are possibly plotting behind your back.
“You like it? I bought them all the way from a café near my workplace that sells classic macarons just like the original ones from Paris.” He nodded in approval as you watch him took another piece, this time it’s strawberry. That’s your favorite flavor among the rest and you can really tell that the sweet tooth runs on Jackson’s bloodline by how his cousins, from the little chubby ones and the grown up beside you, munch on your favorite treat.
“I never really eat macarons, but you introduced me into it. You deserve a recognition, uhm?” He lifted his hand for a handshake. He doesn’t know your name yet so you took his hand and introduced yourself right away.
“It’s Y/n, Eunhee’s best friend. Thank you for the recognition by the way. Well, you come here with a date?” You’re mentally tiptoeing above the thin ice. It’s better to assume that this cute guy over here is already taken, I mean with his looks, he's totally a charmer, you thought to yourself.
“I didn’t bring anyone with me, so I assume you also come along on your own, no?” Green light. Okay, you need to calm down. This isn’t like any of your past blind dates but first meetups are usually nerve wracking and scary so you played the innocent heroine that you are and chose to just go with the flow seeing how Eunhee and Jackson are staring at you maliciously from Mark’s back, you know they were able to receive the death notes you are sending them via telepathy.
“That explains it.” It’s not that you had a thing with cute guys, but maybe you just discovered it right now. You can tell he’s a decent one, a cool and random Asian-American import from the west and maybe if you’re an ice cream, you already turned into liquid by the way he stares at you.
“I don’t know anything about you yet, but would you trust a complete stranger to celebrate your Christmas eve with? If you’re up for it, we’ll leave this party right away because I can tell that you’re going to get sick from all these couples outnumbering us.” Have you been a good girl this year? You didn’t include this guy on your Christmas list but Santa rewarded you without even asking for it.
“I’m putting my trust on you knowing that Jackson is a good guy so does his cousin. I'll sue him and he’ll answer for the damages and fines in case you failed to bring me back in good shape.” You both let out a hefty chuckle earning glares from your best friend and her boyfriend. You’ve decided to pursue your spontaneous trip with Mark and the next thing you know you’re already closing the front door upon your exit even before the two of them could react to your great and grand escape.
----
He took you on a ride away from the busy and bustling streets of Seoul. You're thrilled to find out that he actually brought you to Namsan Tower, the highest peak in the city. You're awed expression cannot suffice the picturesque panoramic scenery of Seoul unfolding in front of your very eyes when you entered the observatory on the top most floor. You were unable to talk all of a sudden and your heart is brimming with unexplained strings of emotion as you kept on taking pictures and videos of the breathtaking place that sent your eyes into a food coma.
"I only went to N tower once, or maybe twice but that was during the day and I have no idea that this is how it looks at night. It's a miss, nobody will be able to witness this scene on a Christmas eve the way we're seeing it right now." You forgot about your shameful episodes of last night's happenings and your worries disappeared in just an instant.
"I kind of paid for tonight's reservation when I arrived here in Korea a week ago, with the hopes of spending Christmas only to myself. Consider yourself lucky, you've managed to join me on this one-time event. Heck, the price I paid for is totally worth it. Come here and try this." He urged you to look on the telescope, and to your surprise, you're taking in every aspect of the city in a bird's eye perspective. Everything you look at is really stunning. Like you never really imagined that perfection exists for real until tonight and you're experiencing it with a random guy whom you've only met an hour ago. Your eyes met his and you wished you aren't redder than a rotten tomato for looking like a lost deer caught on a headlight.
"The view here is really pretty.” He gave you a smile, too charming for your own consumption.
“It really is.” He’s even prettier than the view. You can only sense your guy-o-meter raising for Mark. Good lord, is this a sign? Your mind is now ready to tick the ideal guy boxes on your list.
“We shouldn't keep this New York style pizza from waiting while it is hot.” He chuckled, like the cute kid that he is. There is something with his unique laugh that you really don’t mind hearing at all. Is he older than me? Please, I don’t want to date someone younger than me.
“Okay, sure kid.” You followed him as he sat on the ground in a dimly lit room radiating a romantic atmosphere under the starry and chilly skies of Seoul. This is not a date, but a friendly escape out of boredom planned by two single hearts on a Christmas eve. As if you’re two partners in crime, sitting on one of the highest skyscrapers in town, while sharing a box of pizza. It’s just that you aren’t Bonnie and neither he is your Clyde but you're loving the idea of him as someone whom you can rely on.
“I’m older than you, silly.” The sight of a wine bottle behind him caught your attention and wondered where it came from. He noticed you eyeing the prize so he did the honor and poured you a glass of wine while you’re devouring your slice of pizza. You never imagined that eating pizza is too romantic and one for the books.
“Any proof that you’re actually above 25? Cause you really look young. With that face, you can qualify for a student discount on public transports and still save money for your commute.” You want to make sure that he’s at least 5 years older than you. You prefer dating someone older than you because they always say that a guy's maturity is a year delayed for his age.
“Trust me, I just know. I’m old enough to buy a house and enter into casinos, I guess.” He gave you a wink and you felt a gush of strong wind blew your senses away. He’s totally a Romeo and you took a swig of wine while observing him secretly.
“So you’re a gambler? I might have been spending my time with some kind of a mafia leader and still have no clue about it.” He’s laughing at it again. I might have a talent with making cute guys laugh and that’s an asset I only discovered right now.
“What, no! But my dad is a big spender in casinos. My duty is to look out for him and take him home before he could even bet our fortune with his leisure. I could always hear him say ‘It has gotta be all or nothing’. He’s born for taking risks and maybe I got that gene from him that’s why.” He stretched his legs and sat like he’s on a photoshoot. He’s not a model but he can beat the professional ones even without the need for screening.
“What’s the biggest risk you’ve taken in your life so far?” You folded your legs as you watch him wonder with his eyes fixed on the ceiling. He poured a glass for himself and you noticed that he used the same glass that you drink on.
“I believe we’re taking risks everyday in our lives. The only difference is the distance of our leap towards taking or not taking chances at all. Like when you’re playing a game, everything starts with equal opportunities. It’s a race to the witch mountain. The first one to gamble takes it all. You gotta be the predator of every tournament and you gotta be the last one standing in a survival of the fittest. If you’re brave enough to take the earliest start, you can use that advantage to ace your end game. It’s all about timing and investing. Win or lose streak. There is no such thing as a grey area when it comes to taking risks. You don’t get to tie with anybody. Either you’ll win or lose. You just have to trust your instincts and roll your dice like everyday is your last day on earth. If I go for something, I go all in. No half-baked decisions. Because my father taught me that risks equates to rewards and I’m all up for the extremes of both worlds. That’s the one thing I’m best at. I know how to play the game nice and fair because I know how to measure the corners of a square and even the distance around the circle which is not visible to the naked eye. After all, he considers me as his lucky charm. That explains my presence to his endless casino nights. And he hardly ever loses if I’m with him. Sure, Pops are probably waiting for me at our doorstep in LA right now. Too bad, his son is on the other side of the world, taking his own risk of a lifetime.” You left with no words to say. He’s too deep, a food for the soul. Guys like him are the ones that can be displayed in museums. He’s a delicate art and nobody should be allowed to touch him but the curator. And you’d want to take that role.
“What if you lose? If you go all in and you lose everything all at once? Have you experienced it already?” you asked, admiring the tiny mole sitting under his left eye. You decided to take your second glass of wine.
“The best thing about losing is that you’ve tried. I don’t take failures as an excuse for not trying again and taking another risk the next day. If I lose, so what? That only means you’re brave because you grow stronger with every fall that you take. Like a bamboo tree, it only bends but it doesn’t break. Life is all about swimming against the current of uncertainties and finding yourself floating on top of your insecurities.” As if he’s summarizing all the lessons in life, you’d always want to go for the front seat. He’s a walking self-help book, and maybe Mark Manson’s book of ‘the subtle art of not giving a fuck’ would have to sit longer in my shelf for the meantime. I got a risk-taker author Mark, right here and I got nothing to worry about.

Party Games
Gender: Female
Pairing: Peter Parker x reader
Warning: Underaged drinking (but c'mon guys, they're like, highschoolers sooo)
Summary- [Y/N] plans a small get- together and forgets to tell Peter, but when he comes over to do homework and then stays for the party, she finds out just how fun Peter Parker can really be. Also Peter drinks for the first time haha
Bonus: Funny drunk Peter
---------------------------------------
"Okay!," you said to yourself, rubbing your hands together while looking around your room. "We got chips, dip, LED lights, playing cards, uno, cards against humanity, music and..."
You looked around the room again, letting your arms fall to your sides. "Crap, what else?..."
You were throwing a party.
Well, actually just a small get-together.
...but everyone knows that basically means a party.
And this small get-together/party needed to be PERFECT.
"Alright... chips, dip, music, playing cards, LED lights, uno, cards against humanity, and..." you trailed off again. Why did it seem so empty? What were you missing?
"Drinks..," you quietly said to yourself, a small smile playing on your lips. "No party is complete without alcohol."
This par-..uh, small get-together was going to be a blast!
You quickly turned your head to the clock when you heard a knock at your door. It was only four o'clock. The party started at five. What frickin' grandma-time-moving person was at your door a whole hour early?
You opened while simultaneously rolling your eyes. "You're, like, an hour early.."
"No I'm not," a voice responded.
You looked up to see Peter Parker there in front of you. His eyebrows were scrunched up as he titled his head. He carried a small backpack.
"I always come around this time," he said, checking his watch. "D-do you need me to come back later o-or-?"
Realizing what he was talking about, you slapped your forehead. "Oh yeah! The homework!"
"I-I mean it's totally cool if you already did it!," he rushed. "Like, really cool! Cuz y'know, progress is, GREAT, y'know! And, um, you're really smart and stuff. Ha, I'll just go home and do mine and-"
He was so cute when he rambled, something he did the second anything went the smallest bit wrong.
"Pete, chill," you giggled. "I haven't done my homework yet."
"S-sorry," he stuttered. "So, do you still wanna go do that now or-?"
"Sure," you said. "But you gotta say you'll help me out, first."
"Yeah of course!," he smirked before tilting his head again. "Wait, with what?"
You laughed. "Just come in," you said, taking his arm and pulling him into the house.
-
After a bit of homework (mainly Peter breezing through it all while you copy his work), you and Peter picked up where you left off, setting up for the party.
"I didn't know you knew how to pick locks," Peter chuckled in awe as you used a hair pin to get into your parents liquor cabinet.
You giggled softly, rolling your eyes. "There's a lot you don't know about me, Pete. Hey, you like Hennessy?"
The clueless boy stared back at you. "Uh, I wouldn't-"
"You ever been drunk before, Peter?," you asked, a small smile playing on your face.
"U-um. No," Peter responded, a little embarrassed. Given all the opportunities he had to, even with his Aunt May actually handing him some alcohol to try, Peter Parker had never tasted a drink. Not even beer or wine.
"Too cute," you snickered, shaking your head, unknowingly causing Peter to blush a bit. "Grab a few bottles, will you?"
"So is all of this," Peter said once you were back in your room. "For something special like a sleepover or something?"
You turned your head around the face him. "Wait, didn't I invite you?"
Peter shook his head quickly. "No." He wouldn't admit it, but when he walked in to see that you'd been setting up for some sort of event, he couldn't help but feel a little left out.
"Oh. Well you're invited," you said simply. "It's just a small get-together with friends from school."
"O-okay." He smiled. "I just gotta call May," he said. When you nodded, he turned away and pulled out his phone.
Immediately, he dialed Happy's number.
"Hello?"
"Hey Happy," he greeted. "Can I ask for a quick favor?"
"Depends on what it is, kid," Happy replied.
"I need someone to cover for me tonight."
"What?"
"On patrol," Peter clarified. "I need someone to cover for me. Just for tonight. I have something to go to-"
"Who is she?," Happy asked, failing to hide the amusement in his voice.
Peter looked back at you sitting on your bed. You were so cute. "W-what?"
"You never skip patrol for anybody, Peter," Happy said. "The only thing I can think of is you've picked up Tony's old habits of dropping duties for special girls."
Hearing that, Peter quickly looked away from you, as if Happy was somewhere hidden and he didn't want to be caught proving his words to be true. "What?! No, it's nothing like that! I just-"
"I'm just kidding buddy. Go on, I got you covered. Go kiss your girl."
"We're not gonna kiss!," Peter whisper-shouted.
"Hey, stay hopeful, kid. You got this!"
"Happy, we're not gonna-" CLICK. "Happy! Ugh.."
Hearing only a muffled fraction of the commotion, you squinted your eyes. "Everything okay over there, Peter?"
"Uh, yeah!" He said, turning around and putting his phone back into his pocket.
Ding-dong!
Both you and Peter looked up to the sound, and then to each other.
"It's starting!," you smiled, excitedly wriggling. "Alright!" You clapped your hands together then walked up to Peter. "We did everything, right?"
Peter nodded. "Yeah, I think so."
You gave a nervous smile. "This is gonna be awesome, right?"
Peter nodded again, giving your arms a reassuring shake. "This is gonna be awesome, [Y/N]. Now c'mon, we don't wanna leave them at the door."
-
MJ was the first to show.
"Hey MJ!," you yelled, pulling her in for a tight hug.
"[Y/N]," she blandly said, though with a small, lopsided smile. She looked to the side, a smile still on her face. "Peter."
"Hi," he smiled softly, his hands awkwardly in his pocket.
Ned was next.
"Hey [Y/N]. This thing's gonna be awesome!," he said walking in. "Pete!!!," he then said, practically slamming into Peter to give him a big brotherly hug.
Then Betty.
"Hey guys!"
Then Cindy.
"What's up?!"
Then Brad.
"Yo!"
Then there was Flash.
"Hey Flash!," you greeted, pulling him in for a hug, and even giving him a friendly high-five.
You were the only one that tolerated, or dare anyone even say, liked him(not in the interesting way of course). Sure he was annoying, but you didn't get the big problem everyone, especially Peter, had with Flash.
"Yo, PENIS PARKER!!"
...Or maybe you kinda did. It was just funny to watch Peter squirm.
He nearly tackled him to the ground and doing his arm around his neck. "Hey, your balls dropped yet? Haha!"
Peter gave you a quick 'why would you do this to me?!' glare before lowly muttering, "Hey Flash..."
-
Spin The Bottle~
"C'mon c'mon, lemme spin it!," Flash yelled. "I'm feelin' lucky!"
"Lucky?," Betty asked. "Who're you trying to get?"
"More like which one of you lucky ladies will get me?!"
"Get over yourself, dude," MJ scolded.
"Hey Pete! Why're you all the way over there?," you asked Peter, who was sitting on your bed watching the game from afar.
"I-I'm fine not kissing anyone..."
"PRUDE!," Flash yelled, pointing to the blushing boy in the corner.
Never Have I Ever~
"Okay," you started, looking around the circle. "Never have I ever...Oh! Here's a good one. Spoken to Spiderman."
Peter, MJ, Ned, and Flash put their fingers down.
"Oh wow, guys! Not fair! When'd you all get to talk to him?!," you playfully whined.
"Said hey to me on the street once," MJ said with a shrug.
"Saved us in Europe," Peter added.
"Gave me a high-five while he was swinging," Ned noted with a smile.
"Told me to watch out when something was gonna fall on me," Flash said, eyes sparkling as if he could actually see his hero in front of him.
"I mean, they don't call him the friendly neighborhood Spiderman for nothing, right?"
Paranoia~
"Alright guys," you said, running your hands together. "For the chaotic energy of this game to work, get by the person you think is the most annoying." When everyone just sat and stared at you, you rolled your eyes and clarified. "C'mon guys, I already know who just merely tolerates who, don't make me have to tell you where to sit."
Slowly and awkwardly, everyone sat next to someone they didn't prefer.
MJ sat next to Betty who sat next to Brad who sat next to Ned who sat next to Cindy who sat next to Flash who sat next to Peter.
"Oh, really?," Betty snickered next to MJ. "I'm definitely learning some things."
MJ rolled her eyes with a chuckle. "I don't hate you, Betty. I just like everyone else more."
Flash looked to the people on the side of him. Cindy and Peter. "...yeah I'm not surprised."
"I love you all the same," you giggled. "So I'm just gonna sit anywhere," you said as you sat next to Peter.
"So the way this one works is the person to the right of you is gonna whisper a question to you and you have to answer it out loud to everyone else in the circle. And here comes the fun part next..." you looked to Peter, your most easily embarrassed friend, to watch his reaction. "You get to decide whether or not you want to tell everybody what the question was. And if you don't, you take a shot."
Peter's eyes widened. "O-of what?"
Brad laughed. "What else, Peter? Alcohol."
"You guys cool with that?," you said, looking around the circle.
"Heck yeah!"
"Totally."
"Cool."
"Sure! Sounds fun!"
"Mhmm."
"Yep!"
"T-that's fine!"
"Oooookay," you said. "Um, Pete! You can go first."
You were on his left.
The circle watched as he leaned into your ear. Immediately you laughed. Once you stopped you answered. "It's been good."
"What was the question?" MJ raised her eyebrow.
"He asked me how my day was."
Flash laughed. Ned shook his head. MJ rolled her eyes. "That was the lamest-"
"I-I was put on the spot, okay?!," Peter defended.
"Well, you've got a whole round to come up with another one," you laughed. "An interesting one."
Peter nodded, racking his mind with more questions to ask you.
It couldn't be anything embarrassing like, "whose your crush?" (Though he secretly wished it would be him)
It needed to be cool. It needed to be sensible. But fun.
"Peter."
Peter's eyes flicked up upon hearing his name being said by MJ.
She was staring at him. "What was the question?," he asked.
You and MJ looked to each other, smiling after coming to a silent agreement of mischief.
"Nah, I think I'm gonna let you suffer," MJ told Peter.
Peter stared, his mouth agape. "Then drink up," you giggled while MJ took her shot.
"W-wait wait wait, no, you can't do that," Peter objected.
"Actually she can, Pete." You smiled a wide shit-eating grin, obviously enjoying Peter's torment. "And now you'll never know what I asked to provoke her to say your name."
"But-"
Cindy laughed. "Feeling paranoid, Peter?"
"Yeah, y'know just a little bit!" Peter's voice cracked as he felt a blush creep onto his cheeks.
Okay, well now he had to get back at you.
He stared at you intently, as the game continued. You were cute as an angel, but as mischievous as Loki himself sometimes, and usually to his expense.
But what could he say? He liked you.
He really liked you.
Before he knew it, it was Flash's turn.
He must've been really out of it if the whole circle had already gone through one round.
"Alright I got a good one, Parker."
"Great..."
Flash leaned in and whispered, "Do you wanna bang [Y/N]?"
Peter yanked his neck back immediately. "Whoa! Uh-um..n-no! Of course not! I so don't!"
"Calm down, dude!" Ned laughed.
"What type of question made you get like that?," Brad asked, almost killing himself with laughter.
"Then again, it doesn't take much for him to get like this," MJ pointed out. "Anyway, what was it, Peter?"
Peter looked to everyone in the circle. No way were they gonna hear what Flash asked him. He looked down at the shot glass in front of him. Everyone laughed and 'ooooh'ed as he quickly threw it back, coughing and hacking immediately after.
"Awwww! Baby boy Peter finally tasted his first drink!," you teased, poking out your bottom lip and wiping a fake tear. "They grow up so fast!"
"Okay, your turn, Peter," Brad said.
'Crap.'
He'd thought so much about the fact that he needed to ask you a crazy question to the point that he'd never actually thought of what the crazy question was going to be!
"Well, c'mon hurry up," you urged.
"Better not be lame," MJ warned.
Taking a quick breath, Peter whispered the first thing that came to mind.
"...Are you a virgin?"
Finally, it was your time to stammer. "U-uh, y-yeah.."
Immediately embarrassed, Peter slapped his forehead. "Dude, I-I'm sorry, [Y/N]. Please don't say the question."
Ned smirked. "Now I really wanna know what it is."
"I'm just gonna...," you trailed off before downing the shot, blushing profusely.
The night rolled on and the questions got weirder. As expected.
But one thing surprised you.
Whatever Flash had been asking Peter the last couple of rounds must've been really crazy stuff because your bashful friend was downing shot after shot. Of everyone in the circle now, he was in the worst shape.
Face beet red. Constantly going into laughing fits. Almost totally abandoning his sense of embarrassment. Shamelessly burping (with Ned more than ready to congratulate him for a "good one" each time). And no sense of personal space. When he asked you a question, he was practically kissing your ear.
The best part was that his questions started to get weirder and weirder.
"You and someone else in this circle have to be surgically bound to someone for the rest of your life. Who?"
"Who's most likely to commit manslaughter?"
"If Darth Sidious walked in here right now and ordered for you to kill someone, who would you kill?"
Most of his questions you told the rest of the circle, because they were just that hilarious.
The game was over now. Betty and Cindy went home. Ned was sleeping on the floor. Brad and Flash were quietly drunkenly chatting. MJ drew pictures of the boys drunk out of their minds.
"I didn't realize Peter was such a weird drunk," MJ laughed as Peter began to loudly hum Star Wars melodies.
Flash let out a big burp, laying on the floor. "I think drunk Parker is better than regular Parker!"
"Totally," Brad agreed.
Peter was laying on your bed, mumbling towards the ceiling.
You, also a bit drunk, walked over to him. "Hey Pete, you okay?"
He didn't turn his head but moved his eyes to look at you. "Wow. I'm drunk." He moved over, leaving room for you on the bed. "And my head really hurts."
You hit his stomach. "Well, yeah dummy! That's what happens when you take so many shots!" You rolled your eyes, laying down so that you were laying down beside him, both of you staring up at the ceiling. "Why did you do so many anyway? What type of stuff was Flash asking?"
"Don't worry about it," he mumbled rather quickly. "I'm so tired right now. This bed is so comfortable. Can I sleep with you, [Y/N]?"
You paused. Of course he didn't mean it like that but still, Peter was asking to sleep with you. And he was too drunk to be embarrassed about it.
OF COURSE he could.
"Yeah, sure," you said, like it was no big deal even though this was literally the guy you crushed on for the longest time. "No problem."
-
Later, MJ, Ned, and the other boys left.
It was just you and Peter now.
He had been done ranting about Star Wars hours ago and was now just staring at the wall. He finally broke the silence as he said, "I don't think I like alcohol very much..."
"You say that," you said. "But I can almost guarantee that you'll be getting drunk again someday." You blew out a tired breath. "And I'll be there to watch you act a straight up fool when you do," you chuckled.
It was fun to see this side of Peter. This carefree, nothing to lose side. You knew that you wouldn't see it often. It's not like you could keep him drunk 24/7.
"Can I hug you?"
You turned around to see Peter staring at you with big puppy-dog eyes. "W-what?"
"Hug- can I hug you?," he asked. "Please?"
"Uh, sure," you replied.
Slowly and clumsily, Peter wrapped his arms around you. "You're so soft and squishy," he giggled with a short hiccup at the end, making it fifteen times cuter.
Of course he'd freak out the second he'd wake up to find himself practically spooning you. And you'd deal with his stuttering and stammering later. But for now, you could definitely enjoy a drunk Peter snoring into your ear.
"G'night, Pete," you whispered, laughing quietly as he mumbled his own goodnight into your ear...

I believe I have read most of your prompts but I haven't come across a prompt like this yet so here it is: years pass and Sonic and Amy grow closer with Amy becoming more mature and Sonic being more comfortable open with her. He slowly falls in love with Amy and is really confused with how he's feeling so he talks with Amy about it. I need me some awkward wholesome SonAmy >A
OHHHHHH The ideas in my head go round and round, round and round? Round and round! All into the ficlet~
I’d also like to remind my Cuties (Followers) out there to please remember that my Prompts are on SHUTDOWN. Do not send me prompt ideas, please! Some of you have and it only adds to my pile. Wait till they open again, okay?
Plus, you can read all my prompts on @idontworkforsega !
So… There’s more ‘drama’ than ‘cute awkwardness’ but I hope it heps that it’s in Sonic’s POV XD
THIS IS AN AU, lol
Prompt:
“It’s sort of weird you would ask me here, Sonic. Usually, we hang outside of movies and try to zip in free or dart if we get caught trying!” Amy, much older and much more matured now, giggled with a slight snort that caught her off guard as she held her hand up over her mouth.
It had been a while… a long while… since we’d taken a break from each other.
Amy swapped her iconic red and white dress for something more form-fitting. For some reason, she dressed like a punky rebel now, making me think I influenced her a little too much with those ‘daring movie dates’ of the past.
Those were meant to just be fun. Over time, it started confusing me. Amy, of course, saw them as officials dates until one day… she chilled out.
It’s like she had given up on thinking romantically about me, and after she did, I started hanging out with her more.
Who knew girls could be so… so…
Awesome?
We started doing a lot of derring-dos like jumping off skyscrapers, me grabbing her and scaling down the side. The city became more alive with random karaoke with the gang to sudden—competitive—miniature golf tourneys… just us two.
Amy never reached out to me anymore. She didn’t follow. She only ran towards the hottest sales and latest fashion. I would have hated it if she became some sort of a diva, but instead, she turned into a ‘do or die’ kind of girl… and honestly?
I’ve been feeling up for a ride.
“You used to like it here.” I lifted a leg up to the raised, concrete wall that cut off the city from the park. I wanted to take her away from the city’s air… I wanted to bring her back to her roots.
Nature…-Ish, I guess.
“Every time I brought you here,… you’d try and kiss me.” I thought that was a bit blunt, but she seemed to roll her eyes to me and lower them as if sensing a joke.
Which, it half was…
She laughed again, but this time, sticking her mouth straight up to the sky to really exaggerate the bounce her chin made at the ridiculous gesture. “Hahaha! Anytime I got with you seemed like a treat! I couldn’t help but think it a fantastic opportunity… A date…” she looked off into the park, and just as I planned, she looked to a couple who were sitting close to each other.
The girl’s legs were flopped over the dudes. His hand was resting on them while he flipped through his book, and she, her own.
“…Couples are so…” Amy started, which perked me up because I haven’t heard her speak about ‘couple’ topics in a few years now… “…Annoyingly sweet.” She looked away and suddenly started digging like a meerkat into the purse.
I frowned. My sudden enthusiasm at seeing the little 12-year-old girl again was diminished at her immediate side-swiping of the thought all together.
My eyes lowered, showing more of my dislike in these results. “What? You don’t want annoyingly cute anymore? I thought you were the master of that!” I laughed, again, trying to be slick about my approach with this.
Eggman had attacked just a few weeks ago. He was getting up there in age… then again, he always was. But for some reason, this old man dipped his toe into Ponce de León’s Fountain of Youth and has been his giddy, world-conquering self ever since…
Though, his latest scheme harkened back to my glory days. I thought it a nice touch, almost as if Eggman was giving me a birthday present or something. In a… murdering love… kind of way.
But Amy didn’t get me anything for my birthday.
That’s when I noticed she hadn’t hugged or doted on me in a long time.
I guess I never noticed after all the times we’ve casually hung out together, but Amy was starting to attract a lot of attention from other men.
I would occasionally see her flirting, which itched me the wrong way, to be honest, but turn any offers down when it came to making something serious.
I didn’t watch her or anything…
It’s called guarding your friends wisely.
Good friends do that.
Well, anyway… I started thinking maybe it was time to actually THINK about Amy Rose.
Ah… The rose that blew away from the wind… I definitely wasn’t expecting that.
It’s almost like she willingly did anything I dared and then suggested reckless—admittedly fun—activities just cause she knew I would do it instead of asking for my hand in marriage or dating schedules.
I honestly… missed those dating schedules.
Usually, on my birthday, she’d insist on treating me to something and then a movie.
That ‘something’ is what I dreaded most. It was THE most boringest activity any young girl could put upon an adventurous boy’s heart!
But I digress… This time, when she just said ‘Happy Birthday!’ and walked on like I meant nothing to her… I really was concerned.
The boys didn’t bother me. I knew nothing would really happen anyway.
Her not chasing after me during adventures wasn’t a big deal. I knew I could always swing by the apartment sometime and grab a bite to eat with her.
No homemade meals especially for Sonic The Hedgehog was a change, but I got used to snacks.
No marriage proposals were especially nice.
But the day she didn’t seem to even care I existed… that struck me the most and caused some sort of… lasting, depressing impression on me.
That’s why I asked her to the park today.
And… that’s admittedly why I planted our bums right in front of the adorable and openly visible couple.
“Oh, that?” She tilted her hair back to me, some earrings clanging along with the smooth movement. “Ha..ha..ha.” she wiggled her head to me, again the clanging jingled as if mocking me as well. “We both know I’ve grown out of that. Besides, I’m far too clever to waste my time on men.” She pulled out the desired object she was looking for in her purse.
A mirror.
As she pulled out some lipstick and started applying it, I couldn’t help but ball up my hand for a second, death-glaring that cherry-flavored lip gloss and look away with a scowl spreading across my face.
How could she torture me like that!?
“You don’t… feel anything towards men anymore?” I decided, heck! If she thinks I’m just teasing her, then I will.
It’s getting me somewhere. And I honestly can’t explain everything I’m feeling. Maybe if she talks more, I can better identify why her ‘self-absorbed’ attitude was getting to me lately…
I bit my thumb to hold in my anger. That stupid mirror. She used to look into my eyes to see herself. She never said it, but I knew that’s what she was doing.
I knew if I ever asked, she’d say something crazy like- I want to see myself as you see me, Sonic! And tee-hee like the innocent but lovestruck girl she was back then.
I looked back into her eyes.
The deep mascara-soaked eyelashes made it impossible to see through to her eyes. I couldn’t even see a reflection in them from this angle. The lashes draped over like shredded black curtains that bounced as she blinked gently.
I would have stared longer to describe them a bit better to you, but sadly, she looked up at me and winked, smiling.
I turned away with a flinch. I hated when she did that!
“Woah! For a second there, I could have sworn you blushed!”
Now I grinded my teeth together, “I was just embarrassed… is all.” I ruffled some of my quills up with my hand and then shook my head to drop them back down in place.
“You’re so funny, Sonic. You always were, but now… especially so!” she clicked her feet together and let them sway a moment as her shoulders bounced, letting her head duck down between them before she held it high and pompously again.
It’s like she knew she was pretty and didn’t care.
Like I wanted to stare and she wouldn’t let me.
Not like I cared what she would have wanted me to do…
“Nah… Men are just… men now.” She looked away again, but I could tell by her tone that something was off with that.
“…You giving up?” I asked and suddenly realized how awful that sounded.
I was about to try and make a quick save by forming a ‘joke’ out of it but she tilted her head and I grew silent.
“…I mean… haven’t you?” she turned her head to me. “About girls. You’ve never really been interested in anyone. I guess after some time, I just accepted that.” She nodded and I felt like every jump of her head was another stab in my back.
I twitched painfully at her nodding and turned away, darting my eyes a bit before looking back to the couple.
“…I didn’t give up.” I stated, a bit shallowly. “I just… never started.” I looked down to my hand, seeing it flex out as it tried to remain ‘cool’.
Why was this so awkward? Why did I feel sweaty and out of my element..? All of a sudden, she had made me tense and wary of her. What was this!?
“…Oh.” Amy looked forward again, and for once, I actually saw her a bit shaken up about me again.
“I just… always assumed you… you never liked… certain girls.” She suddenly started tugging on her hair, moving her fingers through it and quickly brushing it out. I slowly turned back, fascinated by the nervous movement and seeing some real flustered pink trace against her cheeks for the first time in a millennia of hanging out with her.
I was… kinda awestruck at it.
“I mean… you just were a … you know… womanizer or something.” She cleared her throat as if that was hard to say, and honestly, I couldn’t help but laugh.
“Why would I be a womanizer if I never flirted with anyone!?” I laughed, but she seemed spooked about that reaction too.
“But you-! You were always..!” she cut herself off, leaning forward to me before pulling herself back.
I hid my face behind my hand as I laughed, peeking through to hope she didn’t notice I was trying to lure out more of a confession in her.
If I knew how she felt… maybe… then I could understand what I was feeling…
She seemed really shaken up now, her head shifting about and her eyes looking at different specks on the ground.
She blushed, and I suddenly felt my heart soar as though racing up a loop-de-loop of the past.
“Amy…”
“I-it’s nothing! You just… always smiled at them and-!” she grew incredibly…
Adorable.
Her hands raced to the sides of her cheeks, “I thought you liked those wild women…” she seemed to be panicking, and quickly tugged her purse closer to her and started rampaging around in it.
“Woah, woah..! Hey! Calm down…” I couldn’t help it, I was smiling!
This girl didn’t really… transform herself to be what she thought I would like… did she?
Amy quickly took out a makeup remover wipe from her purse and held it for a moment… she shoved it back into her purse and shoved the entire thing away.
“It’s fine. Honestly, I like myself and I like our new dynamic.”
“Dynamic?” Our relationship was anything BUT dynamic…
She was a cheerful and always encouraging girl from the sidelines. Recently, she had become the fun girl cheerfully encouraging mischief from the sidelines.
Both were fine. But only one of them was Amy to me. The other was a girl I knew a long time ago… she was cute, made me a little apprehensive, but was kind and loyal in her faith that I could save the world.
Then there was Amy. The same girl, but much more interesting!
I could relax now, but she was still feisty! Just in… eh… another kind of way.
She was loud and didn’t care. Wild, always wanting a good time. Never a dull moment…
The two just… mixed. After the old Amy faded from memory, I hadn’t noticed how much I-
That’s it.
My eyes widened when I realized what I was feeling.
“Amy… I missed you!”
Her face froze and she studied something intensely in her mind, before turning back to me again. “What?”
“Do you still like me?” I jumped both my feet up to the wall now, making sure to balance myself and stay crouched by her side. “I mean… like me enough to want to… sit all cute and affectionally like those two, over there?” I moved my head in the direction of the couple but only moved my gaze from her for a second.
She was considerably flustered now.
I knew without a doubt she still had feelings for me, and it gave me courage and a thrill I hadn’t felt in an awfully long time.
“Why not?” I shrugged, “Your cute, I’m handsome. We’re especially good at thrill rides and don’t care what mischief we get into! The only requirement is that you stay the girl you want to be. How ‘bout it?” I gave her my best ‘fantasy dream boy’ look and waited—expecting everything to go my way and have her squeal in delight at my offer.
But… she remained silent and spooked… and my confidence was all but destroyed in a matter of two, long eyelash blinks.
“…No.” Amy breathed out.
It was like the sound of death, lingering on her recently moistened-up lips and trailing into my soul to gently pull my spirit away and send me packing.
“…No?” I felt my entire body grow heavy, moving back down to the wall. “No..?” I felt my voice soften, a crack was placed in the spaces of my pride and I couldn’t see clearly for a moment.
Her eyes watered up, “No.” she stated again.
This time, it was like she hesitated on the gunshot.
“Because I do care.” She looked away, down at the ground. “I do care what kind of mischief we get ourselves into.” She grabbed her purse and jumped down from the wall.
I didn’t even notice how fast my body was moving on its own. I was following her for a change… unable to rip myself away from her.
“And I do care what girl I want to be. What girl I thought I could never be. And what girl I thought you’d drop to a knee and marry! But I’m done thinking about you all the time!” she turned swiftly around, like a tornado cut short in it’s spin. But I was still knocked over, I stopped so quickly at the whiplash of her spiraling fury of wind that I got my breath shoved right back down my throat.
When had she become so…
Powerful?
“If you want me, Sonic The Hedgehog. I expect you to fight for me like every other man in this world!” she hit me with her purse, and I stumbled back, as she advanced forward. “I expect you to think about me every day!” she swung another go at me, and this time I instinctively put up my arm to try and block it. “I want you to change yourself into a better man that I would admire and appreciate! That I could have fun with and emotionally invest my time and energy into! I want you to invest in me!” She kept swinging, and I was thankful it was the purse and not the toned, ripped as a muscular body-builder hammer that’s ridiculous name only disguised how formidable it was.
“Ames…” I stopped moving backwards. I had gained the insight I wanted. But it was a little hard to swallow.
“I want you to be committed to me like you are right now!” she swung one last shot, letting it slide and dangle off after its strike landed. She breathed heavily now, her back hunched and her anger subsiding.
“I want… I want you to say it first.”
I didn’t move.
“…I want you to move first!” she looked up with a look I had only wished I never saw before.
I had hurt her.
She had felt played and cheated.
Her passion was overlooked as a game and she wanted nothing more than to keep going with it. Because she saw I enjoyed it. And she’d rather have that over heartbreak.
But now I was asking for heartbreak. I was asking her to go right back into that endless chase with me and she wouldn’t put up with it anymore.
She had grown so strong and independent. She must still care about me… but she wouldn’t allow herself to fall into that trap again.
I hadn’t realized… how much suffering I must have put her through after all these years.
It pained my heart to think about it, but I was a total butt to her when she was young and in love.
I should have been more thoughtful. Less careless about how I reacted to her praises and affections.
How could I have asked her to do all that again? Go through all that without first proving I would commit to do the same?
“…Alright, Amy. I get it. You win.”
She let out an emote that I couldn’t quite answer back with. It was as though she had cut off an intense cry and only let the first syllable of the terrible whine out.
“You idiot!” she cried out, her body sinking down as she swayed in her emotional outburst. “You never let me win!”
It was like she flicked a switch.
Behind my eyes, there was something triggered.
I bolted towards her, grabbing her and pulling her as tightly close to me at supersonic speeds.
I hadn’t moved that fast in a long time. It was a quick action. I just responded immediately to it. As though it was a cry for help.
I held her then… just held her.
She felt hot and panicked at my sudden touch.
How long has it been..? Since we’ve last been this close..? Since we’ve really, truly embraced without a shred of holding back before?
She didn’t cry, she didn’t fight me, she just…
Went limp a moment.
When she finally spoke, I could tell she was exhausted from having felt so many things and not being ready for it. It had probably been so long since she had felt these feelings for me again… and honestly…
I was just starting to understand how powerful this thing was…
If this was what Amy had felt… back when she was just 12…
“I never meant hurt you, Ames.” I pulled her closer, not daring to let her go now. Not when I knew what was going on inside my heart now. It wasn’t awkward for no reason… it was because I missed her. I missed her so much. I had recognized the resistance and lack of love and I wanted it back. I wanted to stop the game. I wanted to quit the endless chase, turn around, and actually make her smile for good this time.
I wanted to reward her.
I never knew this was what she had felt.
For so long, I had denied her any chance of an actual victory over me. Over my stupid pride. My teases. My constant ‘mirror’ that didn’t want me to see her for what she truly was.
Love.
She was Amy.
“I think I finally get it, Amy.” I felt my mouth grow dry, my throat get slightly sore as she lightly gasped and turned to look up and to the side at me.
Her hand suddenly gripped, ever so more into my chest, below my shoulder…
“Understand… what?” she inquired as if holding everything in.
I sighed, dipping into her more. “How truly hard it must feel… to be in love with me.”
She remained silent.
“Because I can honestly say now-“ I pulled her just inches away from me, looking into those eyes that finally reflected an image of me. The me I now wanted to be. “That loving you is no easy feat either.”
Her eyes glossed over, widening.
Which reminded me of those lips…
I angled my head down, staring at those moistened tempters…
“I never realized how powerful love could draw you in…”
Did she notice?
I looked back up at her, my mouth agape as her’s hung a bit too.
It would be so simple…
To just lean in and-
“But I have something to prove to you now.” I stepped away, using every amount of self-control I had to do so.
I stood tall and proud, “I have to win your heart this time around, right?” I cocked my head and smirked. This time, I was actually attempting to flirt with a girl.
She still looked awestruck, and so I continued.
“8 o’clock. Park. Bring a book.” I bolted away, “A good one!” I called out, cupping a hand over near my mouth to let the sound travel as I raced by.
I was determined to succeed!
This Amy needed confirmation that I was serious! This Amy had my heart leaping over bounds and wanting to tear itself from my chest and bound right after her.
But I had to play the charming hero now.
I had to play the game this time.
She was the object of my affections! I had to win her over!
It was… absolutely thrilling!
Once again, Amy was pulling me into her mischief and ‘ride or die’ activities again.
But this time-
I was tugging right back!
I heard something in the distance just then and skidded to a halt to turn my ear towards the sound.
“SOOOONNNIIICCC!!!” it sounded just like it did all those years ago. “YOU BETTER MEAN IT, OR DIE TRYING!”
I chuckled.
“I WON’T FORGIVE YOU THIS TIME!”
She probably would kill me if I didn’t mean every word.
I put my hands to my hips, lowering my head to hear any further messages scaling across the breeze.
“AND ONE MORE THING-!”
I smirked, knew it.
“I LOVE YOU TOO!!!”

Together Alone
"You know he actually, convinced me to quit Nolu?" Rita said as she lit up a cigarette and took a long drag.
"Man I've missed that", She held it up towards the light almost admiring it. The second last cigarette out of a crumpled up pack of twenties. Which by the looks of it, had been hidden underneath a mattress for far too long.
She closed her eyes, I watched her chest expand, as her lungs began to fill with the contents of the cigarette. She inhaled, and held her breath for a while, taking it all in for a moment.
Before exhaling puffs of white smoke, through her nostrils and later through her lips.
Which had me scratching at my nose and slightly coughing, it irritated the heck out of my sinuses and clogged my throat.
I saw her eyes begin to, float up and about, then around the room dilating as she opened them, in some sort of daze.
I think that was the nicotine kicking in or it flooding the brain, which ever one came first.
"Still gives me the jitters.. Even after all this time. You know he actually convinced me to quit? Me of all people?" Rita said again shaking her head, as if she had been hoodwinked or swindled into giving up smoking. Before she took another drag of the cigarette, only longer this time. She looked at that cigarette as someone would an old friend, that you'd meet by chance in a clothing store or at a coffee shop or at some library miles from anywhere. And you reminisce about times gone by, laugh at things you used to do when you were younger.
And you stand there in almost shock, and you ask yourself, is that really so and so? I haven't seen so and so since we were kids. But there he or she is, right in front of me, the girl I thought would never get married with a ring on her finger and a child holding her other hand. The guy everybody expected to fail because he hustled people, and never studied there he was with a Rolex on his arm, and Porche keys in his hand. And you almost wonder how on earth, did he ever end up getting it so good? While you stuck in a 9-5.
That was Rita's reaction, one of shock and disbelief, as she tried to remind herself what smoking a cigarette used to be for her.
"It would've been two years and sixteen days now. Without a single one of these.." She held it up again as the bud began to burn her finger tips, it almost falling out of her hand, she laughed a little.
"Or a drop of alcohol.. But here I am, doing drugs again. He'd be so disappointed..." She said raising the bottle of wine, pressing it against her lips, taking a huge gulp of the wine.
"Theodin who always told me that I could do better, that I was better.. That this was bad for me, bad for my health, for my well being and that I was meant for so much more, that I deserved way better.. That I was way too beautiful." She sniggered.
"Then why would you relapse Rita?"
"Because I... I don't know, what to do with all these emotions Nolu, that's why. I mean he, your Theodin was like my glue but Theodin isn't here anymore, he's.. only God knows where! This and this.." She held up the cigarette and the bottle of wine.
"Was all I knew.. all I used to use to cope. This was all I could use, to numb the pain, until he came.. I miss him so much"
I felt something strange, something I hadn't felt in a long while, rage , anger, jealousy. begin to fill my heart and eventually engulfed it.
"Bet you do.. Don't you?" I said as it threatened to over take me and trickle down to my hands. Blood flowed rapidly to my head, I could feel my head throbbing.
"I do.. More than I can put in words.."
"What?" That was a line that Theodin used with me, almost 4 years ago. The last time I heard from him on the phone, before I finally saw him come to rescue me. He had said that he loved me, more than he cared to admit, and that he missed me more than he could put in words.
"Who taught you that line?"
"Your Theodin.." Rita kept saying that "your" part passively without a care in the world. My blood was boiling right now, she just kept laughing and giggling and with every giggle images flashed in my mind of her and Theodin. Was there anything he kept only for us? Or had he given everything to her, including his heart? I felt like swatting her right across the face and wiping that dumb smile off her bronze face.
"Want some?" She interrupted, sipping on the bottle of wine in her hand.
"You could use a glass or four...after what you've been through and they say it's bad manners to let a lady drink alone."
"That's a cheesy pick up line, that cheap girls you to get guys to buy drinks for them."
"Cheap?"
"Yes.. Cheap"
"What you trying to say? Are you calling me cheap?"
"Nothing.. I'm just saying if the shoe fits you know"
"You just mad, that your fiancé all up in this.."
"Female dog"
"Tramp"
"W-h-o-r--"
"Takes one to know one" She said cutting.
"Homeless person"
"Hobo"
"I'm not even that good at this, Nolu. But you? You suck.." She said cackling.
"Okay fine..."
"Are you okay?"
"Do I look okay? Seriously? Like part of me wants to hit you, with something so badly right now, I've been fighting myself over it for the last thirty-five minutes"
".. And where would you start?" Rita had a confused, almost baffled look on her face.
"That pretty face of yours! That stole my husband away."
"Stole? Really? But okay I'll take that.. And where would you end?"
"With your head inside a dumpster.." She began to laugh, she thought I was joking but I wasn't. I wasn't laughing, my teeth weren't even showing not a single one, I was dead serious. I had killed her a gazillion times in my head, now I was trying to figure out how I'd get out here without leaving any tracks or getting caught.
"We really going to fight over a guy? Like we still in middle school? Two grown women? Pulling each other's hair? Kicking, biting and scratching?" as much as I hated to admit it but she was right, It wasn't her fault that Theodin liked her, I'm not ready to say the other L-word which has a lot of weight on it. Call me dumb or whatever you like, but I love him. I know, I know part of me says he's gone but part of me doesn't want to believe it.
"Truce?" She said stretching out her hand.
"Truce" I replied, shaking her hand. I was older, so naturally I had to be the bigger person. I knew she was working me, trying to find out my anger, a nerve and used it against me but I knew better.
"You know what they also say around here?"
"What?" I asked in an even more annoyed tone,
"That Chinese wine a good laugh, and a bowl of sushi can fix anything and if you add a bowl of ice cream and chocolate into the mix you can fix a broken heart"
"You sure you aren't making that up, as you go? My heart isn't broken.." My heart wasn't broken, it wasn't aching, it was shattered.
"Mine is.. And I don't know maybe I am, making it up. Maybe I'm not.. but I guess there's only one way to find out," she lifted up the bottle and passed it to me.
"What happened to the glass?" She took another gulp only bigger this time.
"Drink it from the bottle. That's the best way to drink wine"
"You mean to drown your sorrows."
I pondered for a while, than I said,
"On second thought nah, I'll pass on the wine, but I'll take you up on the sushi, and the good laugh and maybe some chocolate and the conversation"
"Fine to me, I propose we toast Adelyne"
"To what? Aren't toasts meant for celebrations? What are we celebrating?"
"To new beginnings, making new friends or better yet how about we celebrate Theodin? The man we both love, the man we wish we could both hate..."
"Cheers" we said in unisoun as the bottle and my glass of water clinked together.
"He saw my best.. when I was at my worst. I can't believe I'm already slurring my words but I'm only a bottle and a half in.." She giggling a little bemused. I kind of joined in.
"You supposed to sip it slow, the quicker you drink, the quicker the lights go out.. But you right..that was Theodin alright, always wanting to see the best in people, always thought no one was beyond saving. He always said that people were like diamonds in bad condition, when you find them. Full of coal, dirty, and gritty on the surface.."
"But they were still diamonds underneath", Rita interrupted, finishing my sentence.
"He told me that too.." She added
"And how everyone deserved a chance, to be loved, to be at peace. He was capable of seeing beyond me, beyond this skin. He saw into my soul, something even I couldn't see. Greatness, he'd tell me that every day. Even when I disappointed him, like I'm probably doing now. He'd still be there with a smile on his face, telling me I could begin again. That regardless of what I thought I was, he somehow still saw a diamond underneath," she said with a chuckle.
"I bet he'd be telling me right now to take it easy on the wine wallflower, and that it was way too early to even be drinking wallflower"
"Don't do it for him Rita, do it for you... It feels better trust me, it lasts longer. Like now you relapsing because the person you were doing it for isn't around and now you don't have legs to stand on, now you don't have a reason to stay clean. It's why you have to do it for yourself, that's the only way you'll get sober, and stay sober.. When you don't have prove anything, to anyone but you. Where you show yourself, that your better than alcohol, and yes better than Theodin. Yes he's one of a kind, but he's only a man and he has flaws too and he'll let you down, and break your heart. Make yourself proud, make God proud, do it for your son, make sure Xhao has a bright future and a mum which he can be proud of."
Rita sat up and put the bottle down,
"You know about that too?"
"Yeah Theodin told me."
"And you okay with it?" I wasn't okay with it, I was angry, bitter and I was crumbling inside and I had been more than tempted by the wine, I wanted to chug it down my throat so badly but something deep inside me, kept saying,"Nolu hayi" and I listened.
"Yes, I mean no but I can't change what happened. I still love him, and he's all I've held onto for these past four-five years. Knowing I'd see him again kept me going, but I lost hope I'm not going to lie to you, part of me thought I wouldn't get out of that place alive but here I am, God being good. He is a light, when all other lights fail, it's why I don't care about what so and so thinks says or does but if I'm good with Him then I'm good with anyone.."
"You sound exactly like Theodin!" She said with a huge smile, like someone had turned on a light bulb life came back to her face.
"He saw something.. I couldn't even see in myself. It was like he looked at me and saw my future, he saw me educated, he saw me successful, he saw me thriving. He saw me whole even, when I was in a million pieces, no wallflower, please wallflower, Ree this, Ree that"
"He was like that with me too," I bit back a smile.
"Always mothering me... Theodin must have loved you hey...and you must have loved him Rita..."
"He did but there was always a piece of his love I could never have..." She took another huge gulp from the bottle of wine in her hand and another drag from her last cigarette that was now almost burning her lips.
"No matter how much I loved him, no matter how much I tried, there was always a but somewhere. A but Adelyne this, a but Adelyne that. He loved me, but he loved you way more than he ever could me. You could see it in his eyes, he loved me but our love always had a period somewhere where it would just stop. Where it would just end, and couldn't go any farther, his heart just wouldn't allow me to ever take your place. Not that I wanted him to, not that I didn't try either. I just wanted him to have a place for me too.. you know.. In that big heart of his because I couldn't help it. I just, I just loved him you know? He didn't have to act, do anything or perform I just loved him, more than anything. I loved him more I had ever loved anyone... I loved him with every ounce of.. of.."
"Your being." I said as she wiped off a handful of tears that were now dripping down her shoulders, I just stayed silent, I did not know what to do. I didn't want to comfort her, I just wanted to leave her be, I was hurting too. Everything she said was daggers, being dug into every memory I had of him.
"I hate crying... But It was you Adelyne, it was always you. No matter what I did, no matter how much I tried. I knew one day he'd go back for you.. and that first day when I saw him look at you, I saw this look in his eyes he had never looked at me with before. What I'd give for him, to look at me that way, at least once. I think my soul would've left my body. His eyes sparkled that day, they came alive they had this joy, this anticipation, he looked at you the way someone would look at home. After being away for a really long time and you'd sit down on the varander even if you were all by yourself, with a smile on your face and you'd say "yeah.. I'm home" even if you said it to yourself. I envied you and part of me, still envies you."
"I'm sorry..." I said as tears of my own formed in my eyes.
"For what?" I was emotional too, as much as I saw my pain. I looked at hers and I felt it.
"I don't know, I don't know what to say... For making you feel this way, ruining your life"
"You didn't ruin anything, I just chose wrong. I just love people, I can't have and that's okay because stuff it right? It's 4am in Macau!" Rita shouted from the top of her voice and laughed shaking of the tears.
"What a city! What a time to be ALIVE! Adelyne is it?" She shouted even louder.
"Shush! You're going to wake the kids"
"Yes mamá"

Hi, um, could I ask for hcs or imagine (either is fine) with Bokuto trying to cheer up his s/o who's had panic attacks for the first time in a while and feels guilty because they haven't gotten better like they thought they had? (If you don't want to write this it's completely fine) This happened to me today and I guess I need some comforting right now... Thank you for being an amazing writer and a great person 💕 I hope you have a great day 😄
Omg anon! Your words have touched my tiny soul, thank you! I hope you feel better soon!! Panic attacks suck, I used to hide in my schools bathroom when I thought I was going to have one. Keep on trucking nonnie!
Lately, you had been trying to keep your motions bottled up. You didn’t want to burden anyone with your problems, especially Bokuto. He was always so cheerful that you couldn’t bare to bring him down with your personal issues. However, your emotions became too much for you to handle one day and you just exploded. You were so sure that you were starting to get better about that. The panic attacks had slowly died down and your nerves hadn’t been so bad, so why now? The day your panic attack hit, you were a mess. You missed several days of school, leaving Bokuto quite worried. You didn’t contact him at all, even though you knew you should have. Guilt was the only thing you could feel besides your anxiety. You wanted to tell him what was going on, but you didn’t want to worry him about something like this.
After about a week, you were laying in bed one morning until you heard your doorbell ring. You dreaded getting out of bed, you honestly believed that it wasn’t physically possible. Yet somehow, you managed. You trudged downstairs and placed your hand on the knob but before you could open the door, it swung right open. “What the heck!?” The person standing there, you guessed it, was Bokuto. “(Y/n), why haven’t you been responding to my texts? Did I do something to make you angry!?” You sighed, but somehow, seeing his face made you feel better. “No, I’m sorry Bo…the truth is, is that I had a few panic attacks the other day and I just haven’t been myself. I thought I was getting better but I thought wrong. I take one step forward and before I knew it, I was two steps back. I’m sorry I worried you, I just didn’t want to bother you with my problems.”
You bowed, hoping that it could truly convey how sorry you were. When you looked up, Bokuto had a frown on his face. All of a sudden, he wrapped his arms around you. “It’s ok (Y/n)…you can tell me anything! I can’t take the pain away, but you definitely don’t have to face up to it on your own.” He pointed to himself as he said this, with a cocky grin might I add. You appreciated his kind words and with a smile you said, “Thank you. I’ll keep that in mind for next time!” Sure the pain wasn’t gone, but you felt much better knowing that you had someone to lean on. It might rain hard, but every now and then, there’s a rainbow along the way.
Thanks for requesting!

Hnnnnn ok tbh you'll probably get sick of seeing me hovering about your blog like some Kekkai Sensen imagines starved vulture (which I am), but oh well. Could you do a ✗♡△❅ or ❥ for Klaus and his crush? Whichever one you want (or all of them idk hun) and/or whichever one you haven't received for Klaus yet. Thank you so much
I’ll do the △ if you don’t mind ^^
Under the cut! (also this is over 1,000 words holy heck)
[Name] walked, heading toward one of the rooms in the building of Libra’s headquarters. There was some files that were inside that room, and [Name] needed to fish a few out. The problem was though, is that when [Name] found the closet, everything was disorganized. The closet was small, and it was nearly filled to the brim with papers and such. [Name] sighed. They started to take most of the papers out to organize them and find what they needed. Stack by stack, they took a little over half of them out of the closet, slowly getting the files that [Name] needed. Half way through organizing the papers, they noticed that the closet door kept closing and locking itself whenever it didn’t have anything to keep it open. They put a small stack near the closet door, since it prevented the closet from closing and locking itself. Having to get the key and opening it again is a pain, they decided.
Suddenly, [Name] heard footsteps nearby. Turning their head to the source of the footsteps, they saw Klaus. They brightened a bit, happy to see him. The first thing Klaus saw was the numerous amounts of stacks and papers surrounding [Name]. He stared at the papers strewn all about. [Name] blushed lightly, embarrassed that Klaus had to see them like this. “Sorry for the mess, but the files that I need are somewhere here…” [Name] muttered. Klaus shook his head. “It’s fine, no need to worry.” He reassured them. Klaus looked once again at how tired [Name] seemed to look, mostly from all the disorganized mess that surrounded them.
“Would you like me to help you?”
[Name] stopped flipping through the stack of papers that they held in their hand. They looked at Klaus, wide eyed. “O-Of course! You don’t have to, but I’d appreciate it.” [Name] quickly said, blushing a little. Klaus gave a small smile, then sat down with [Name] to help them. He enjoyed helping them, after all. After [Name] (with the help of Klaus of course) finally organized the papers, they double checked the files that they had found.
“Okay! Now then, here’s one, two, three, four, five, six… Wait. There’s one missing.”
A look of disapproval and annoyance appeared on [Name]’s face, clearly frustrated at the missing paper. Klaus looked around, his eyes traveling back to the closet. “Is there any more in there by any chance?” He asked, pointing inside. [Name] looked to the closet, thoughtful. “Maybe. I’ll check inside, and I pray that it’s there.” [Name] said, hopeful. They stood up, stepping inside the closet. They looked at every shelf, their eyes searching for that familiar color of white. [Name] turned around, only to see Klaus tower over them. They stepped back a bit to make more space (and also because they were a little startled). Klaus held a stack of papers in his hands. “I believe it might be in this one, since we haven’t searched this stack yet.” He told them. [Name] blinked in surprise. “Oh, really? Where did you pick it up from?” They asked him, taking the top piece of paper on top of the stack. “Near the door.” Klaus replied.
A bolt of panic went through [Name].
“W-Wait. Was that stack-”
Suddenly, the click of the door sounded. The room flooded with darkness.
“-by the door……..”
Klaus looked to the closet door in the dark. “Oh. Oh dear. I’m sorry.” He told them, guilty about causing the door to close. [Name] face palmed in the dark, rubbing their face. “No no, it’s fine Klaus. I should’ve told you beforehand, no need to apologize.” [Name] reassured him, not wanting to make him feel bad. [Name] did have the key, but unfortunately the door only opened from the outside, not the inside. Both hands immediately went to their pockets, taking their phone out. Quickly turning it on, they went to their contacts to try to get one of the others to rescue themselves and Klaus. The light from the phone gave some light, illuminating [Name]’s and Klaus’s faces as they both looked at the screen. Tapping on Leo’s name, [Name] put the phone to their ear. The phone rang on, and Leo never answered. A frustrated sigh escaped [Name]. They tried everyone else. Steven. K.K. Zed. Chain. Hell, even Zapp. Not a single one of any of the Libra members answered. [Name] looked to Klaus, a confused look on their face. “Is- Is everyone busy or something??”
Klaus shrugged, not sure either. [Name] thought for a few moments, then quickly opened up the internet, looking up the news that happened recently. The first thing [Name] and Klaus read was something along the lines of “monster attacks HL.”
“Well, that explains why no one is picking up… I’ll just text Leo for now and hope that he’ll answer.” [Name] concluded, sighing. Klaus looked down, still guilty. “I apologize about letting the door close-”
[Name] quickly interrupted him. “No no! It’s fine Klaus, trust me. I should’ve told you anyways, it’s my fault.” They told him, waving their hands. [Name] sighed, making more room for Klaus. “I suppose we’ll have to wait here for a while.” [Name] sighed. Klaus shuffled around a bit, not wanting to make them feel squished inside the small closet. He felt awkward, as he was actually tilting his head down slightly so he wouldn’t hit the ceiling. A question popped in his head, wanting to at least make a conversation while he was stuck here with [Name].
“How was your day so far? Other than this situation, of course.” Klaus asked them. [Name] eyes blinked in surprise in the darkness. “W-Well, it’s been going fine. Nothing much other than what’s happening right now, haha..” They awkwardly replied. “And you, Klaus? What about you?” [Name] questioned, not wanting to end the conversation on such an awkward note. Klaus thought for a few moments, then replied, “It’s been eventful. I think this is the most eventful thing that has happened all day, actually.” [Name] smiled nervously. “R-Really? Same here, haha.”
“I’m glad I got to spend this moment with you though, [Name].”
[Name] froze. They felt their face heat up in the dark. “I- I am too. I’m glad it was you instead of anyone else.” [Name] stammered, smiling. They prayed their their liking to Klaus wasn’t too obvious. The darkness hid Klaus’s soft smile. He shuffled a bit, staying close to [Name] but not to the point where they would be up against the wall of the closet. [Name] felt themselves blush as their face lightly touched Klaus’s chest. They could smell the warm scent of tea from being so close to him. Klaus spoke again, breaking the silence.
“Would you like to have some tea after this is over?” He hesitantly asked. [Name] stiffened in surprise. “O-Of course, I’d love to Klaus. Hopefully the others will be over soon, haha.” They replied, stammering. Hearing [Name]’s answer, then tension in Klaus’s body relaxed, glad to hear them accept. [Name] was thankful it was dark, so Klaus wouldn’t see how red their face was and how they were smiling so much at the invitation. They hoped that the two of them would get out soon.
After nearly 25 minutes, Klaus and [Name] safely got out of the stuffy closet. Leonardo had come to the rescue, after seeing [Name]’s text. The rest of the evening was spent with tea for both Klaus and [Name].
