playing eso and remembering why i like mmos (crafting and the rush of fighting a boss with strangers)
#nothing makes you feel useful like stumbling across a boss and a guy waiting outside and realizing that he#has assumed youre also here for the boss and rushing in expecting you to follow#i sprinted in after him (im a restoration and heavy armour focused healer) and spent the entire time shaking off the rust#(i havent played in a year i think) and desperately trying to remember my keybinds#i was useful though i rezed him once and managed to keep him alive with heals while also providing dps bcos it was just us#and afterwards he dmed me to say thanks and that was nice i don't know if he could tell i was frazzled and#i feel kinda bad he died like my job is managing peoples health#im just glad it wasn't like the last boss i fought (destruction mage i didnt know + me spending 20 minutes desperately running in circles#trying to survive and keeo each other alive while doing thimbleful damage#at the end the guy compared it to a fucking benny hill chase scene and i laughed it was so fucking stupid
