i feel so conflicted over how many games get remade or remastered and then sold at full price.
#virtual console was the best. i can see why nintendo shut it down considering more recent events#'pay for our subscription service instead!!!!!' go fuck yourself actually#(i could scream for hours about nso and how it's just entirely unecessary for what it is. like its not just about the emulators on there)#(it's about the fact that INTERNET ACCESS TO USE CERTAIN FEATURES IN GAMES IS PAYWALLED)#i thought i would be able to join a friend in an online tera raid in sv without nso. because there's nothing saying 'oh btw you need to pay'#BUT NOPE. YOU NEED NSO BECAUSE IT JUST DOESNT FUCKING WORK OTHERWISE#biting screaming crying throwing up#this post was about remakes but yeah nso is a blight#which does suck because nso has a LOT of games that a LOT of people have been unable to play legitimately#(which is to say finding an old copy for cheap and playing it on a console)
