this being the top comment for the zone of interest on letterboxd EXACTLY
#loved the movie and just kept comparing it to the modern day#especially when you think about all the things iof soldiers have posted on social media#laughing and bragging about the destruction being done in gaza and the murder of palestinians#the zone of interest is a horrifying watch. but when you see direct parallels to the modern day it gets 10x more horrifying#and i'm so glad jonathan glazer used his speech at the oscars to speak about palestine#(honestly that solidified it on my watchlist)(it's on hbo max if anyone is wanting to watch it!)#personal#movies
