Goncharov is great and all, but the one I really want to see is the Ghibli-esque-but-slightly-grittier animated movie I watched one time in a dream, which featured an airship that kind of functioned like a bagpipe so it would automatically bwoo when ready for takeoff.

#there was more to it than that natch #the main characters were three kids on the run from something... like a girl with psychic/magic powers and her younger brother #and their friend who gets separated from them and gets sent to a sanitarium because he catches TB or something at the end of the second act #(he meets them at the airship port later and is mostly fine dw)#it was SO GOOD you guys #most of what I remember is that it was SO GOOD #I woke up itching to watch it but alas #(that was years ago and I still think about it all the time)#(I love you harrowing vaguely steampunk cartoon from my mind)
