Little wiggle and shift to get comfy and then a soft content sigh. Yes, comfy. Might have been a slight snore not long after. Tired Sheriff needed their sleps and what better place then right on a handsome bird.

It was tempting, oh so tempting to shove the sleeping Sheriff off of him, but thinking on the consequences his actions would have he decided it would be best to just let them rest on him.

To keep himself from dwelling on thoughts of pushing his fiancée to the floor he maneuvered them so they would be more comfortably nestled against him, in a position that would allow him to continue working and pause to get the sleeping body a pet or a scratch here and there. The actions had always proved to be oddly soothing.
