Today, a name with two useful kanji and a hundred million potential pronunciations. 都築 can be read (deeeep breath) Tsuzuki, Tsuzuku, Tsutsuki, Tsuzura, Tsutsugi, Tsutsui, Tsuki, Tsukiji, Tsukizu, Tsukizuku, Tsuchiku, Tsujiku, Tsukushi, Tsuguchi, Totsugi, Totsuki, Tochiku, Tozuki, Tokizu, Miyakochiku, Miyachiku, Kunimichi. And these are the only ones of which the news has come to Harvard! There may be many others, but they haven’t been discovered. (x)
都 means capital or metropolis. It's read miyako, to, or tsu. It's used in place names, like 東京都 Tōkyō-to (the official name for Tokyo),
築 means to build, construct, or fabricate. It's read kizu.ku or chiku. After all that, you deserve some simple kanji, no?
