ok wait no on second thought I actually can believe my obscurify rating bc 1) I’ve mostly been playing songs by the most popular artists I listen to (mitski & hozier) on the piano & singing them instead of streaming them on spotify & 2) none of you bitches listen to music that isn’t english

#by ‘you bitches’ I mean ppl in 1) the netherlands 2) the us 3) the uk bc that’s the countries I checked my stats for #the rating I put in the tags being from the former; the latter two being respectively 1 & 2% higher lol #elli rambles #(disclaimer I mean on average bc these kind of stats are all about averages bla bla etc etc)#musicposting #I mean I get why ppl in the netherlands don’t usually listen to say welsh or tamil music (two of the languages-I-don’t-speak most commonly #found in my spotify library) but like. I didn’t think that would provide sufficient counterweight for the fact that I do in fact listen to #quite a few popular english-speaking (english-singing?) artists…#and also that doesn’t explain why my rating is the highest for the uk bc like. 1) tamil-speaking diaspora & 2) the welsh .
