Me, years ago, reading excerpts from Time Pirates’ Treasure: Blendin doesn’t like checkered flags? I wonder why that could be.

Me, now, in 2019: ...Well... I wasn’t actively looking for an actual explanation, and that wasn’t the answer I was expecting to think of... but... okay then?
