Person A keeps getting called to leave their palace home, and when they are finally forced too, they run into a stranger, Person B, a hermit who gets dragged into helping them find what they’re looking for to possibly save both their homelands. Person A and Person B travel to the farthest reaches of their home and find a magical place where Person B awakens as the guardian spirit of their land, and Person A realizes they’re the only person who can see/hear Person B and can connect the humans to the spirits.
