Me: I'm going to play Gates to Infinity because I never played it as a kid and heard the story is good :D
Also me: Got so annoyed with this game while waiting for the story to get good that I went and beat the main story of Rescue Team DX instead
#don't mind me having a moment#pokemon mystery dungeon#i'm having so much fun with dx xD#i was never able to do the post game as a kid because it was so hard#but i want to give another shot with DX!#DX is a much easier game than the original haha#excellent partner AI (good riddance iq gummies!)#more multi-range/varied moves right off the bat#Super's Barrage is tied to the speed stat now#Super's Type Bulldozer is available as a Rare Quality#Rare Qualities in general make things delightfully fun#but I am still sobbing over Rapid Bulls Eye - I can't seem to get it on ANY mons T_T#I think I've gotten every other rare quality at least once on someone#(surprisingly getting lucky with Steam Roll though)#(I can't complain too much because my duo have Steamroll & Brawl which pairs BEAUTIFULLY with screen nuking moves)#(but I really want Rapid Bulls Eye for some Defense Curl + Rollout shenanigans xD)#i think my ideal rare quality trio is steamroll; rapid bullseye; and one of food finder/small stomach
