chapter 85 & 86 thoughts + why i haven't been active

Before I start, let me tell ya why I'm posting this so late. Over christmas break, I almost completely lost interest in Owari. I'm not exactly sure why, but it happened. Well, I do know why, but that would be to long for this post. School keeps kicking my ass too, it ain't even funny anymore. Everyone of my classmates is either studying 24/7 to get good grades or they're drinking / vaping / smoking / doing drugs like theres no tomorrow, and both parties are rapidly losing their personalities. And I'm completely caught in the middle of this. Great school system. Well done. NOT.

Anyway, I'm back now with a ton of motivation for this blog. Buckle your seatbelts.

chapter 85:

Even though I'm not fully understanding what is going with Krul, Ashera and Noya in that flashback, Smol Krul™ is adorable and has to be protected at all costs.

Common sense is once again not a thing within the Demon Army. Why, and I can't stress this enough, ARENT YOU USING A HELICOPER OR CAR TO TRANSPORT "GUINEA PIG" YUU. Plot armor calls again.

I'm guessing, that once this life absorption barrier isn't active anymore, Guren will become (something like a) human again??? What???

At least, Shinya and the rest of Gurens Squad are kinda okay, maybe they'll rest and get backup- CAN YOU NOT? RUN AFTER GUREN AGAIN PLEASE? Shinya really has a death wish, doesnt he?

I honestly wonder what Krul is going to do, once she arrives wherever she's going.

chapter 86:

Mitsuba coming literally out of nowhere and hugging Shinoa. This is the content I signed up for. No, but in all seriousness, this is a super cute moment for them, regardless if you ship them or not.

Shinoa Squad reunion, yaay! (almost)

I have to admit, even I laughed when Yuu, after everything that went down in the last chapters, still called Guren his friend. Mika's expression was spot on too.

This whole scene with them bickering was just great. Had a good laugh. 8/10

"With all of them together, you might finally get that wish you've desperately clung to for so long" ???????? okay, we get it that everyone talks in riddles nowadays. not a fan. pls stop

"I have a reason to live. I have you, Mika." Okay, I could write an essay on, about how toxic and overall wrong this statement is, but I get what they're trying to say, so I'm skipping that. Kinda getting the same vibes as from Guren and Shinya couple chapters ago.
