S: We shouldn't have done that. We shouldnt have - I'm glad we got Gegg because of that but uh... Idk what he was

S: maybe there was

S: Well uhm... Guess I'm going to so something I'm pretty scared to do for a while. Just... Try and be me

S: I think that depends on all of us. I didn't always have control over what was going on when Gegg was out, but I know one thing. I know that Gegg wanted change, and Gegg wanted what was best for everyone, and Gegg wanted to know - I think Gegg knows that inside all of us there's a spark of Gegg and uhm. Maybe there's a lil spark in Gegg in you too. 

S: And at the end of the day I'm just Gegg's campaign manager.

thinking about that one time cucurucho pointed their gun at charlie and his response (at point-blank range) was just "I don't feel fucking threatened by you." thinking about that interaction in general actually. the fact that the only question they really asked were "what would you do if juanaflippa died?" and only answered charlie asking if she WAS dead with "what would you do?" the fact that instead of just saying yes or no, cucurucho went out of their way to SHOW charlie the clip of mariana accidentally killing flippa (again.) if you've seen my other qcharlie ramblings you know I think the federation wants something to do with him but honestly I think their interest was piqued a lot earlier on than I realized.

at the end of today it truly was miscommunication and q!bbh’s paranoia that won out in the end. i know this is a whole new place now, purgatory. but q!bad has always had an air of paranoia about him on quesadilla island and that hasn’t gone away just because he’s allowed to ‘let loose’ now. in fact i can’t blame him for being worse when two teams full of his friends had actively been hunting him for a few days. just when he’d thought they’d worked hard enough to win, another team would sweep it out from under them. so when he thought there was a possibility for green to surpass them last second, when he promised dapper he’d do anything for the win. he pushed those buttons and hoped it was the right call. bc there was no way in the hells he’d trust the others to keep it even or lose it all

what makes me most hyped for el regreso de elquackity is seeing the lore this guy brings to the table in this current phase of the story…. yeah, he showed how much of a threat he was during the election arc but there was still so much hidden. I just think it’s so fascinating the difference between elq’s dynamic with cucurucho here and the dynamic between qq and cucurucho the last time we saw them together.

like functionally both qs are doing a similar thing (asking questions and talking on when cucurucho doesn’t answer them) but the power dynamic is clearly different. cucurucho’s silence with qq felt like amusement, here it feels like shyness almost? and elq’s reaction when he sees that the others are coming to the station feels somewhere between a boss and your parent saying “i told you so”. idk it feels clear to me that elq is the one with the power between the two of them
