I remember in highschool year 2 one of my classmates kept argueing that superheroes have become this era's equivalent of mythology, which i just think is wrong on several levels, as mcu and dc lack the collective grip and religious consideration on people. But you know who fits this definition to a T? Dragonball

#listen i love you 3000 can never reach the heights of grown ass adults raising their hands when the genkidama sphere scene happens #i also feel like huh. people will eventually get tired of the mcu for its convoluted nature and less than stellar new entries #for dragonball even if after z the writing has gotten pretty mediocre it still remains a classic #because of the dope fights and the fact that it is rerun so many times on tv that you are guaranteed to get attached to it #(and also. tv reruns are free. good luck trying to watch a mcu movie/series for free lol)
