When ppl say that there is no stories about friendship I can't help but wonder what do they mean? There are lots and lots cartoons for kids and teens about well, friendship! Its the main point of almost all stories there. I don't like watching movies so I dunno if there are a lot of movies about friendship nowadays but I have watched old films about it. Like yeah it will always have some romance too for main characters or for the background characters bc if your story has like 10+ adult ppl most of them would look for relationship for the sake of building a family or sex. But also if you can excuse how the women are drawn you can just read/watch one piece and like NOBODY has any romance or sex there even though there are like billions of adult pirates.

It’s just like. The way it seems in vlr it’s like shifting is an incredibly rare ability that Sigma and Phi possess which is WHY Sigma is zero in the first place. Only he can build rhizome-9 and jump around in time and prevent radical 6. It seems that not even Akane can shift! If she could, she wouldn’t fucking NEED Sigma she’d just do vlr all by herself. So there’s that right

Then it’s like. This just can’t be a plot device that all your characters can do cuz then it just takes the deadly stakes and makes them useless. It doesn’t matter that zero put your ass in a death game, it was actually beneficial cuz it allowed you to awaken to this cool power that lets you escape death! And characters dying just feels like a funny joke after a while. Which is a really interesting concept that can be done well, but again, it doesn’t work when this is an ability that everyone has

It’s why the vlr epilogue with junpei and akanes split views is so effective! Zero can just go back in time and experience the good timeline, but the people used in the experiment like Junpei are stuck in one place forever and have to live with being treated as pawns. Its what makes Junpei such a tragic character, the fact that he’s been through so much hell in this one life and has just recently been able to find some love and happiness despite everything, and the one person he spent so much time chasing after is just. Incapable of seeing that as worthwhile because she’s become so desensitized to everything

So for Junpei to be able to shift its just. Grrrr annoying a complete disservice to his character. And im not really sure what’s supposed to be implied if Akane can shift in ztd but can’t in vlr and I don’t know what I want it to be 😵‍💫

Getting back into my omniscient reader viewpoint brainrot and realizing how similar joongdok and starbee are like…I certainly have a ship type I guess. I think starscream would totally toss bee into a serpent mouth if he thought bee was going to oppose him back in rid. Ever since I changed my mindset with shifting (I started using law of assumption) I’ve been seeing HELLA and new Angel numbers like 211,311,411 etc and 777 888 999 which I used to NEVER see before, I think 3 weeks ago I had a dream ab a blue butterfly (whenever I asked for signs I used to always ask for blue butterflies) and she transformed into a girl and said something ab granting a wish and I said shifting and she said something ab a few weeks and I woke up like ??! Junpei’s refrigerated arm is essentially put in a microwave to solve the last part of the Pantry in ZTD. Specifically, it had to be warmed to be open enough to activate the palm scanner

At least one character gets their hand chopped off in each game

VLR and ZTD are easiest to explain. Sigma uses the 9 door to chop his hand off and prevent his bracelet from injecting him in Quark end (also has his hand chopped off by the other characters in Sigma’s bad end). Carlos looses his hand after being attacked by Akane with the Chainsaw in the “Suspicion” fragment. 

999 was less obvious but in the Axe end, toward the very end, Junpei sees Clover walking off with his bracelet, since he was still conscious when she left, this leaves two options. First being that his heart stopped and allowed his bracelet to come off while still conscious, OR if Clover didn't want to wait for him to die and just chopped his hand off before leaving him to bleed out.

I actually asked the Uchikoshi's Somnium discord server for a fake answer and this is what I was given first!

A lot of y'all appear to go tripped up on this and that might be because of the Bio Lab in ZTD. Part of the puzzle involves Sean, Mira, and Eric getting their fingers picked on something (don't remember exactly what rn but it was definitely not a book), but this was set up for the game's decision regarding Radical 6 (75% fatality rate) and Fanatic Bio R (100% fatality rate).

This decision was based on Newcomb's Paradox

Ice Cream server has one of the highest kill counts in the series.

Look at any route where Eric finds a gun, when not counting the Zeros, Eric has killed more characters directly than most of the other cast. (I think the only other characters in the higher range aside from Eric are Mira, Ace, and Dio)

Saw someone in the tags say they refuse to believe the snail caused 999 and I hate to break it to you but in the Apocalypse fragment in ZTD, Delta clearing states that if the initial incident that killed 6 people, including Akane’s parents, didn't happen, she wouldn't have gotten involved in the first Nonary game that Ace ran that was covered in 999.

Would also like to note that it was confirmed in VLR that Ace is a member of Free the Soul. How much he knows about the snail is debatable.

1• Neito found out that he SemiPerma copies Quirks via Blood through accidentally drinking Himiko's Thermos. But he needs a fixed diet from people so he doesn't get overwhelmed

2• First time Izuku saw Shigaraki he actually had his costume on. Shigaraki sees this Spiked Leather bound kid crack his knuckles and grab a Red oak Bo Staff. Later along with the gun wounds he nurses a broken jaw and a new scar on his face from the nasty lil green punk.

3• Izuku has chains on his Hero outfit, They work extremely well as Capture Weapons.

4• Mr Compress and Twice are absolutely Terrified of Izuku after the Yakuza Arc

5• Dabi has a YouTube channel that actually pretty popular where he dances. Mina is a *Massive* Fan and Squealed when he showed up at dorms as the Midoriya Bodyguard

Borealll here, my fav au humm, i adore bav au but! my favorite to gnaw on is Black Nightshade au! so...

One, it is very clear that the second pair of arms Izuku posses is stapled into him, specially since the skin tone have a contrast between the arms and his own face.

Two, here, it is an unfortunate necessary step for the subject to die for the noumu process to take hold, and it is fortunate that the non-sentient don't remember such great pain.

Three, Bakugou still have gone overboard in the exercise of heroics, rumour has it there was even an expulsion involved.

Four, Incredible as that may sound, Afo has no idea of things brewing under Izuku mind and that things might connect them even more...

Five, Toshinori is a bit touch starved, and also gives the best fucking hugs, it does not compare, he is warm and soft of course they are the best, and of course few people right now know that.

Hi it’s Kiwi. Don’t have a favorite au really but the one I have the most brain worms about right now is the Pokémon au so let’s talk about that! (Also if you guess an OFA User’s Pokémon for their gym in the ask I’ll give 5 more headcanons)

1. Izuku and Bakugou’s starters are Larvesta and Buneary respectively. Larvesta was a gift from Izuku’s dad because Hisashi knows that Izuku will become an menace and get bored eventually if he gets a regular starter. Buneary was just found near Yagi’s lab trying to fight the man’s Pokemon and Bakugou pointed at it and says he wants that one as his starter and then caught it.

2. Aizawa is the Ghost Type Gym Leader. He does not advertise this and the only person who really knows this is Shinsou. Lovely surprise for the kids when he gets “kidnapped” by his Drifblim in the Ghost Type Gym.

3. Kaminari and Dabi had Rotom phones before said Rotom just turned into a regular on their team. Kaminari’s is called Nokia and both of them have the lovely habit of having 999 tabs open at all times and are dorks. Dabi’s is called Budget and blew up his phone when it decided they want to battle now and keeps on insulting Dabi and blowing up all phones he tries to get Budget in.

4. Hagakure, Ashido, and Aoyama are going on their Pokémon journey to complete Pokémon Contests across the region. They all give each other tips and try to be the best Contest Performer they can be.

5. The Elemental Plates to summon Arceus are with all the Gym Leaders of their respective type. They are all kept in separate places and more often than not the Gym Leaders don’t have it on them. This makes the fact that 7 gym leaders got kidnapped a lot more concerning.

anterior! umm as of right now my favorite au is either WitS(Wonder in the Stars) or TLVC(Tanuki Leaves and Violet Clouds) but ive already done one of these for WitS so TLVC it is!

-sako has this habit of spinning his cane around like one spins and umbrella, oboro thinks its really cool but sako barely realizes he's doing it

-oboro has two cats one orange cat named sushi and one black cat named coal, if coal and sako were to ever meet coal would try to lay on his cape no matter how many times sako tells her not to

-shouta and hizashi are sick and tired of hearing oboro go on and on about how cool he thinks tanuki is, but they let him because well its really really funny to see people who dont know about oboro's "obsession" with tanuki walk up to them and ask what they're talking about

-sako has shelves of glass jars that are just full of nomu's that he's marbled, the jars are like mason jars and thus aren't huge but hes got like multiple shevles of nomu jars, everyday he thinks about getting rid of them and every day he reminds himself that if he does they'll cause way more problems(he wants to get rid of them, so so badly)

-shouta has nightmares about oboro never being saved from that nomu lab

and this headcanon applies to sako in bout all our aus

-sako really likes oreos, he has like a pack of them in a marble to carry around so he can share with people he befriends

been seeing a lot of people who like yttd talking about zero escape so i’m thinking about getting it, should i get the full trilogy or just the nonary games bundle?

OH MY GOODNESS zero escape. i love zero escape it’s my favorite video game series hehhehhe. it’s so good man

ok honestly i would say buy the nonary games bundle first, and then after that, if you want to play ZTD (the third game) after that, you can get it separately (unless theres a bundle deal rn or smth idk)— but ZTD is like. quite controversial ? i guess ?? in that a lot of people Do Not Like it. in my opinion theres good stuff and bad stuff in it, i overall don’t like it very much while still also really liking specific parts of it… Hrm. to me it’s just not as good as the first two games but it’s not like its unplayable or anything. I’ve only watched playthroughs of VLR and ZTD bc i can’t focus on actually playing games myself very much (ive watched like 7 playthroughs of 999 but it’s been 10 months and i’m still not done with my actual own playthrough of it) so when i got to ZTD i just skipped through stuff when I didn’t care for it. which worked out for me bc then the stuff i liked more stuck in my brain more !! so really it’s up to you if you want to play the third game, like after you’ve played the first two and see if you want to see the follow up even if it’s not quite as good. but also i have no idea what your opinion on it will be! i only have my own as reference haufhgsdhsdkj BUT ANYWAYS THAT WAS A RAMBLE .

you ABSOLUTELY should play the first 2 though dude. theyre so rad. i scream and explode and flop around on the floor like a fish. on friday i rambled about them to a random classmate for an hour. BIG IMPORTANT THING THOUGH: if you are playing the steam version of 999 YOU NEED TO PUT IT IN NOVEL MODE. this is not an optional this is a You Have To. Ok ? theres stuff that got lost in translation when they ported it from the og DS version, and if you cant play the DS version, putting it in novel mode mitigates said translation loss to an extent. NOVEL MODE. OKIE COOL !! oh jesus christ i love these games so much man im falling down the stairs i’m exploding. just trust me man. VLR is like my fav thing ever. 999 music slaps hard also .
