                Steven sniffs, eyes still teary as he lifts a hand to wipe his face-- for a little while, he had thought the gems weren’t sad at all to see him go, and as petty as it might have been, a part of him had wanted some kind of reaction. But of course they were just trying to be strong for him. He’s set on leaving-- he’s got all thirty-nine states to explore, places to go, parts of himself that he still hasn’t discovered. His therapist even agreed that this would be a good step for him ( he’s thankful for the video chats-- it’s helped...a lot more than he thought it would ). Still, he’s really going to miss everyone. 

        “You know, you can delete the save file if you want. I wouldn’t give it to you if I didn’t want you to play it.” He laughs. “But thanks. I’ve got a lot of stuff planned-- but I’ll still call! And visit sometime.”
