◎ How do you deal with loneliness?

Well... It would be a lie if I said that I have fully made peace with my loneliness, it is a very difficult feeling and I do struggle. Sometimes all I can really do to deal with it is to cry it out. Other times it stays a deep ache in my chest that keeps me awake. Prayer helps sometimes, and it helps to remind myself that I am never alone even if I am lonely, I still have my beloved by my side and God is everpresent. I rely a lot on those two, too much even, but what else am I to do? Then there is hobbies and other fun little activities, it is helpful to keep my mind as busy as possible and to get comfortable with being by myself. I like making things. Knitting, hand-sewing, embroidery, pottery, you name it. Oh, and lately I have developed a habit out of talking to statues. Surprisingly helpful. It is possible I am losing my mind a little.
