Dave York is an older, edgier (read: murdery) Marcus Pike 🤷‍♀️ It’s totally possible to remain on the edge of the pit as an observer. I’ve watched Equalizer 2 an embarrassing number of times and haven’t fallen in.

No chance against Joel and a knife, the “you’re next” smirk, and “WHAT TOWN.” I’ll dig the holes for that man’s dead bodies 🥲

Received this yesterday and honestly couldn't reply to it because every time I read that second paragraph and remembered that scene I felt tingly all over and could no longer function 🥴

I do find Dave an interesting character but I don't find myself drawn to interpretations of him that are, I guess, redemptive? I prefer ones that embrace his dark side.
