Well, all I wanted after season 2 was for the focus to be back on Wille and Simon. Can’t say we didn’t get that. But at what cost?? And who is now actually still rooting for them to end up together? Unless they abolish the monarchy, I don’t see a happy ending for these two. The entire season was about the problems their relationship causes them. And there is no resolve in sight.

If anyone hates on Simon for his decision, I’ll have words with you 😁; he’s a kid just like Wille and doesn’t know what to do. Wille doesn’t know either.

And I know these characters are teenagers whose brains aren’t fully developed yet. So I’m trying not to be too harsh on them. But the way Sara still can’t fully own up to what she did is slightly infuriating: she knew that being with August was going to hurt Simon. She kept protecting August. She lied for months to both Simon and Felice. She freaking warned August that Simon would go to the police. And for her to blame August for everything at the end of season 2 was just awful. But she got away with it. Yes, Simon and Felice were mad at her for most of the season, but she never had to explain herself to either of them. Girl gives us nothing and gets everything.

And now August. We knew since season 1 that he must have some kind of eating disorder/workout addiction, and now that Simon dropped that clue to him, there would have been time to address it a bit more. They didn’t, so it’s either going to be shoehorned into the finale or they’ll ignore it. But hey, at least he got his happy ending with Sara. Lisa needs to explain at some point why she loves these two so much. If the show ends with August becoming crown prince and Sara by his side, I will break things 😁

The Hillerska kids really leaned into their privileged views this season, but I had to laugh out loud at the scene of them auctioning off food during the strike.

Overall, definitely better than season 2, but there was so much sadness and you could see what the pressure did to both boys over the course of the season.

bro mona lisa coming back is so exciting fr. also the comic she’s appearing in is an april-focused comic!! and the sma comics have been pushing april to the background so much so i’m happy she’s finally getting a focus comic. i just want more tmnt girl focus they’re the best characters imo lmao

as for lotus, she did make a cameo in the very first sma comic so they know she exists. i think that they prolly think she’s only a cameo-worthy character rather than a fan favorite like mona lisa, which is dumb imo. i’m trying my best to bring more attention to lotus blossom and her potential as a character. there’s a lot they could do with her and her and leonardo are such a fun duo, romantic or platonic, and i’d love to see more of them.

realistically, i’m not sure she’ll come back? one can only hope ig. and beg lol.

Alice: Is not really a big fan of huge party especially for birthdays. So it would be very small with close friends and family. In crushing stage she would do a private dinner. But in a relationship she would take Mc to where she went with her dad. A over look of the city and meals she and everyone made.

Helena: crush stage: ok so depending on the Mc this will change. Helena would get the Mc favorite band or singer they like for a private concert or get vip tickets to go to the concert. Relationship stage: Helena will do a underwater ship cruise.(this is one of the harder things to get.) Helena has already done them but wants to share the experience with the Mc.

Lisa: Don’t laugh. Crush stage: It would be art classes or pottery classes. She would want to share something that’s apart of her. Oh and the Mc gets to eat Lisa cookies. Relationship: Have you ever wanted to do body paint.(it’s happening.) And paintball fights with friends that too.

Becca: Beach trip or to the lake house. 🤷‍♀️ girl wants me time no one else. But doesn’t mean she won’t surprise the Mc with a cake and friends. She’s not friends with many people but as long as Mc is happy she’s happy.

Daniella: She will get Noah’s number and set up a dinner or lunch. Ask Mc to look after her son. Will get everyone in on it yes Becca I see you. And when Mc comes back every one is caught do one thing or another. So everyone cooks together and it becomes a thing. Although Noah is forbidden from the stove same with Scott and Lena.

Vanessa: Musumes or Art gallery than theater is also an option. Vanessa will have a picnic basket to. (Yes she like picnics. So just where will be y’all’s spot) Will be happy so very happy as birthdays are special. Will definitely strive to get a laugh out of the Mc.

Azalea: (doesn’t know what a birthday is. Yeah I know.) in crush stage would do a metal work as a gift. Would even get Mc into doing it. In relationship: Azalea would do a ritual If the Mc wanted to see the world how they see it.

Kent: Alright let’s get this right. Kent would do a breakfast in bed. Basically anything the Mc wants to do he will do.

Naamah: MCs Birthday is all about them. She will do the pampering treatment and everything.(could she have servants do this. Well yes but she wants to do. To show how much she loves and what the Mc means to her.)

Blaze: two words.Time travel. Man is going to zoom with Mc to anytime they want to go to. You want to reenact a historical event. See a historical figure or just say you ate during a battle and watched it. (Hell yeah Blaze is all for it.)

Zero: Zeros gift is unorthodox. It’s simply an outer body experience. In a robotic body. It’s not permanent don’t worry Zero has tested this many times.

Red Flag RO: Sex. Biting blood. Hmmm 🤔 You get your own blood bag.(person) She would also get you to see world with her daughter is at.

Rune: big party. Like the hugest you’ve ever seen. And a beautiful necklace with matching rings. Rune would get her own alcohol she makes to and just say no one walking away without a headache.

Tears are healthy and i hope he can process his emotions and all that but I’m scared.(edit: i know this is YR so i’m mentally preparing myself for the pain)

19. Whats a headcanon you have about any of the characters?

Okay I’m not very good at hcs bc i take a lot at face value 💀 (¡autism!) so these may not count as hcs and more like assumptions ?! But that’s all i can offer I’m sorry.

My most strongly held hc is that the scar on Simon’s face is from Micke (☹️). And that he did more harm to Sara and Simon than has been addressed in the show. I think there is a deeper reason why they agreed not to have secrets between the two of them that has to do with Micke. I hope we get answers to this s3. I will be very disappointed if we never find out.

(Also he is just so pretty in this picture i think i’m dying a little inside every time i see it)

January 2024 movie wrapped 😁 ! Thought this would be a fun thing to talk about wven if no one cares. This month I focused mainly on comedy and romance because thats what I wanna edit one day. Next month I might focus more on romance and drama.

This month I watched 20 movies total, my original goal was 25 (my current monthly goal) so I fell short by 5. Of the films I watched, I saw 8 in theaters (40%) and 12 at home (60%).

Next month I am most excited for Argylle (looks fun), Drive Away Dolls, and Lisa Frankenstien (February is a bit sparce…).

I was forced to walk out of this one by friends. fake dating movie that had bad acting from a cast comprised of good actors. I liked the premise tho, pictured it with old man yaoi the whole time.

2. The Boy and the Heron (1/4/2024)🍿

Saw this with my mom! I was kinda confused by it but it was really pretty. Really good voice cast 😁❤️❤️ I understood the message the day after, I would be hesitant to say this is one of the studios best, but it’s def top five….?

3. Night Swim (1/5/2024)🍿

saw with Olivia and Becca. JANUARY FODDER AT ITS FINEST! So stupid. Wasnt that bored tho! I really liked the coin thing at the end.

Saw with Olivia in the coldest theater Ever. Really cute and charming 😁👍🏻 probably one of Illumination’s best but I haven’t seen a ton from them recently. Wayyyy too giddy for the return of the animated short before a movie.
