Tribal Council #6 - Vitsmuni
Tumblr media
John, how do you feel about your fellow players? Is there anyone you’re bonding with particularly well, anyone you really don’t like having around, anyone you think needs to go home? How do you navigate the social element of the game?
on a personal level, i feel great with everyone. i’ve bonded with a few people, had some nice convos. there are some people that need to go, however. the social element of this game is tricky because emotions can easily manipulate the strategy behind it. it has to be navigated with flexibility and fluidity.
Raffy, now that we’ve moved from One World into the actual merge, how much do the old tribal lines matter? Are you planning on sticking with your original teammates or branching out?
I think that since One World has been in place the entire game, old tribal lines matter much less than in any other normal game of survivor. Of course your tribe mates are most likely the ones you bonded with the most, but interacting with the other tribe was just as important especially with EoE. Thus, if you’re playing well, old tribal lines shouldn’t matter, though I do think there might be people in this game who think they do. My plan is to stick with people who stick with me and who have proven they want to talk to me and interact with me inside and outside this game
Keith, talk to me about loyalty. Do you value long-term connections and alliances in the game, or are you willing to change things up as the situation demands? How much flexibility is needed to be successful? How much loyalty?
I am loyal to a fault, So I would say that I value long-tern relationships and alliances. But the game keeps shifting so u need to be flexible  and be able to judge the situation your in too. As far as how loyalty, I'd say if u catch someone being disloyal, there are as good as dead to u
Zoe, does the fact that there are people in this game who may know each other from other ORGs or the community worry you? Do you think you’re seeing the full picture of the game? How can you make sure you stay informed with all the other players?
I can’t say it didn’t make me nervous in the beginning, and this past challenge proved that a bit: people that have more experience are going to have an advantage. Just like on an island, people are going to trust the people they know more than the people they don’t. But I think I have a good feel for where people are at at this point in the game. It’s about who you trust, and who those people trust, so information can be passed down accurately. You always hope that you can tell when you’re being lied to.
Maynor, how are you feeling going into the merge? Is the game beginning to pick up, or are things still hidden beneath the surface? Do you feel your fellow players are being honest with you about their plans?
i felt happy that I was able to make merge. I think its still maybe hidden since we just merged. I feel everyone is good. People are nice. I would hope or will be a sad narwhal.
Timmy, you got the worst score in this challenge. Do you hope to be able to turn things around on the challenge front? How much do individual immunity challenges matter?
I think I’ll be able to turn things around on that front, being last in a challenge isn’t normal for me so I was big shook. They help because they’re an aspect of the game and who doesn’t love having immunity
Sierra, how are you meshing with everyone on this newly merged tribe? Are some people easier to get along with than others? How do you choose who to work with?
The merge is a chance to really get to work with people from the other tribe in a meaningful way. Some people are easier to talk to than others — I know my previous tribe mates and how they tend to work more than I do the former Ulfur people. Still, since we’ve all been on the same camp, now we all have the chance to see if those bonds hold like our old ones do. Choosing who to work with is really about who you can trust, both before and after the merge.
Ellie, walk us through the last vote. Why did things end up the way they did? How are you using the pre-merge game to inform your decisions post-merge?
The last vote was definitely about who you felt most comfortable with bringing to the merge. It wasn’t a simple one at all though, a lot of consideration and different factors went into it. Obviously there are people you spoke to in pre merge and people you didn’t speak to in pre merge, but because of one world tribal lines might not be so strong and cracks may be bigger than in a regular season.
Dylan, talk to me about lying vs. honesty in a game like this one. How do you decide what information to reveal to whom? How do you trust people knowing they might be lying to you? How do you decide when to be truthful and when not to be?
In this game you just can’t be honest 100% of the time, and you can’t be sure that everyone is telling you the truth when they’re talking to you. Sometimes if you have other information, you can tell when someone’s lying. Otherwise, you just go with your gut. As far as who you tell what information? That’s pretty situational.
Stephen, congrats on individual immunity! Do you think this win paints a target on your back moving forward? How do you deal with people’s perceptions of you in the game?
god i hope not thanks jay. I think people have seen me flop enough in other challenges to know im not a beast. but also like, you know me, peoples perceptions are a mystery to me #bestsurvivorplayerever
Joseph, how do you feel about your position in the game? Do you feel strong in your ability to make it to the end? How are you working to make sure you get there?
I say this all the time but it’s important now more than ever. You can never be comfortable with where you are. You get comfortable, you go home. That’s just the gist. It’s hard to play this game and never be comfortable, but that’s what makes it Survivor. I feel strong in my ability to play. The path to the end is so fluid, I couldn’t answer that. I really have no clue how I can end up there. Hopefully, as the game goes on, doors open for me, but right now, it’s all up in the air. More so for me than probably others who have established alliances.
If anybody has a hidden immunity idol and would like to play it, now would be the time to do so.
Nobody stands.
Once the votes are read, the decision is final and the person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately.
